Horwill's STOMP and claims the Reds weren't penalised enough

I did feel sorry for Dan Palmer, innocently minding his own business and trampled by the reds pack. They really should have backed off and checked he was ok. It may have been a sudden attack of narcolepsy.

    Reds v Brumbies - RD10 2013

Ah, I remember reminiscing about the success my team had last decade. I feel for you guys. Hopefully you can take the title this year. If the reds can just get through the weekend with a little dignity I'll be happy. But seriously, it is very pleasing to have a aus conference clash between...

    Reds v Brumbies - RD10 2013

No sooking here. (I probably should check my posts from back then but ah who can be arsed doing that). And all congrats due to the 2011 Brumbies, they were an entertaining and cohesive side. I'm the reds would have swapped the title for a win over the mighty brums. I must admit I did not see...

    Reds v Brumbies - RD10 2013

Looks like the Brumbies need to find a smaller stadium, been a while since Canberra stadium was packed out. Yeah, sucks to sit in a stadium like Suncorp with 50,000 and watch the reds take a title. Are you sure the Brumbies won't get stage fright in front of a real crowd? :)

    Reds v Brumbies - RD10 2013

The brums for me are the flavour of the week. I'm looking forward to partaking of their rugby goodness this Sat evening at Suncorp. I can only hope that the Reds can put up some feeble resistance for a change.

    Reds v Brumbies - RD10 2013

Reds might be better off forfeiting, they are going to get smashed. If they can just hold it together for a couple more games this season they may be able to avoid the wooden spoon. I doubt any of the reds have anything to prove at this stage. The Brumbies are building nicely into their season...

    April Wallaby 30 Man Squad

I may have missed something here, but if this 'logistics' camp is about photos and promotional work, Cooper is the last guy you would invite even if he is number 1 in the reckoning to start at 10 against the lions. At this point the ARU and Cooper both would be hoping for him to have a low...

Ewen McKenzie - Life after the Reds

I really value that Cannonball segment. It's like a bucket of cold water being thrown in my face to remind me that watching any footy show, including rugby HQ, is a complete waste of time.

    Wallabies Watch

Heh, heh. We saw Cooper 'underplaying his hand' for the first few games and the reds were able to scrape a few wins. He's hardly kicking the selectors door in with the rubbish on display last night. If the best that he can do is be invisible he can do that off the field.

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

Cooper doesn't even look like he believed in himself last night. He's not bringing any composure to the reds at the moment, taking bad options that cost them time after time. Maybe Jono Lance should stand at 10 in attack and defence. The Force did a great job of ruffling his feathers...

Waratahs vs Cheetahs Super Rugby-R5 2013

I think they will go a lot further when they stop missing tackles and leaking tries. The rest will follow.

    Reds v Waratahs, rd2 SR2013

I thought that Harris's contact was fairly innocuous but that Hooper, running next to AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), collided with him after it, and that was more hefty and accounted for his injury. Thought the first up bye cost the tahs, they will will be better for the run.

    Wallabies v. Wales - 1 Dec

The Phipps of - well, everywhere.

    Wallabies v. Wales - 1 Dec

If a winger can't beat an forward from where he was he should be playing for Australia. Higginbotham had come off the scrum in the middle of the field but was chasing the winger. He was at least trying to cover a gigantic defensive misread by the backs, and not get stepped back inside. Yeah...

    Wallabies v. Wales - 1 Dec

Diving for Cuthbert mid first half as he broke down the sideline. Higginbotham was playing well up till then too.

    Wallabies v. Wales - 1 Dec

Harris may be pedestrian and but he turns up at the right time and commits a defender before throwing a pass. He even seems to have a rough idea when to kick and when to pass. You can't teach that. Apparently.

Quade telling it how it is

He said pretty much exactly nothing. Which is the way it should be. Cooper should take note.

The Totality of Tony McGahan's contribution to Wallabies' rugby - a report on the first year

Completely unfair on Totality Tony. Like that contract for an extended warranty on the last TV I purchased, his statement is carefully worded. He has no responsibility for what happens on the park, just before, after and at camp wallaby, which I understand is a bondwood caravan Tony pulls...

Wallabies vs Italy - 25th Nov

I don't get this team. Deans gets them doing three half-arsed plays and they do them over and over again. 1) 9 passes to 7 (whether it's Pocock or Hooper) or maybe 1,2,3 who is static 5-10 yards from the base of the ruck. Ball carrier gets enough assistance from the rest of the pack to get...

Weidler vs Growden? Misunderstanding Quade will wrap xmas presents at Westfield shopping centres through the off season.
