    Wallabies 40 man squad

I feel for Mowen. I might not know as much about rugby as others, but I refuse to believe that on current form McCalman and Dennis are better players than him. He would be perfect off the bench as he can play 6 or 8, and would add some valuable leadership late in the game.

    Kurtley gooooonnnnneeee

I'd go with 9. Genia 10. Cooper 11. Ioane 12. McCabe/Harris 13. Fainga/McCabe/Horne 14. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 15. Morahan With White and Barnes on the bench if its a 5/2, and if its not I'd add a winger to the bench. Centres will be the problem with no real standouts. Harris is not a super rugby level 10...

    Wallabies 40 man squad

Until McCabe learns how to throw a long pass he will not be anything but 'serviceable' for the wallabies. That's not to say he hasn't been the best Australian player in his position, but it is what separates guys like Nonu and SBW from him.

    Wallabies 40 man squad

Is this shit for real. He picked fucking Ma'afu, McCalman and Vuna. Yet Mowen, Aulea, Cowan, Hanson, Holmes, Cummins dont get picked?

    Wallabies 40 man squad

If Ma-afu makes the squad I will lose any shred of respect I still had for robbie deans. He is useless at the scrum and useless around the field. He was replaced by a virtual unknown last night who compressively out performed him.

Brumbies v Reds Super Rugby round 14

For a while I thought hooper was having a better game but then gill did some pretty crucial stuff and IMO ended that one on top. There is a bee's foreskin separating them though.

Brumbies v Reds Super Rugby round 14

Walsh was certainly pedantic, but I didn't think he overly favoured one side. Bit hard to ref the breakdown when there is no clear mandate from the powers that be. I think the call at the end was dubious, as was the tomane-Fainga'a incident. Ugly game, happy we came away with the points. Needed...

ARU increase Super Rugby Salary Cap to $4.5 million for 2013

The interesting bit for me is the EPS salary cap. Will the squad size stay at 30 plus 5 EPS? Because I think either the squad or the EPS need to increase (by around 3 players) for next year to bring the allowed size in line with the amount of players used in a season.

    Wallabies 40 man squad

My version of baba's breakdown: Certainties (18) Ben Robinson Sekope Kepu Ben Alexander James Slipper Steve Moore TPN Nathan Sharpe (apparently not retired as some have thought) James Horwill Rob Simmons Scott Higginbotham David Pocock Wycliff Palu Will Genia Quade Cooper (you would think)...

    2012 IRB Junior World Championship

Anyone have a team list to give the game notes some context? Cheers for the recon rugbyfan

    Rebels 2013

Blair Connor might be a decent buy for the rebels. He is a speedy winger, cut from the reds at the end of 2010, but has flourished in the top 14 since. He wouldnt set the world alight, but if the rebels are willing to sign lloyd johnason I wouldn't rule it out.

    Tapuai to Melbourne?

Would be a fucking stupid signing by the rebels when they have one of the best centres in the world in the team already and a couple of very capable options at 13 as well. Sign some front rowers, a new flanker and a young flyhalf and a winger.
  13. Bowside

    Reds 2013

For sure he has, he's a great young talent, but I think we are blowing things out of proportion a bit.

    Reds 2013

he scored 1 try against the lions. settle the fuck down guys

Brumbies v Reds Super Rugby round 14

It will be interesting to see what split the reds go for on the bench. All depends on if lucas is injured, and if quade is confident of holding up for a full 80. The reds forwards started to fade in the second half on the weekend, they really missed beau coming on and picking up the tempo...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

Cottrell will be back from the force soon as well. Which would round out the backrow nicely. What happened to Ian Aukuso?

    Hurricanes v Brumbies, Super Rugby R13 2012

I think it will be a 2 week job. It will mean we miss the great match up next week, but it will also mean that hooper will probably start the scotland test for the wallabies as he will be well rested.

    Hurricanes v Brumbies, Super Rugby R13 2012

Tomane's getting better with every game as you would expect. Australia's outside back stocks are looking swell at the moment. I think our depth in every position is the best it has been in a long time.

    Reds 2013

Yeah I expect that qld might load up the EPS next season with a couple of backrowers and hope one of them emerges. Sort of like the brumbies did this year with locks.

    Higgers to the Rebels

I have already explained in my earlier posts. The negotiations should have been finalised earlier so the players and teams would have enough time to negotiate new contracts. This is the opinion of higginbotham himself, he has come out publicly and said so. The noises coming out of the reds...
