RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

The masochist said to the sadist, "Hit me, hit me!", to which the sadist replied, "No".

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

With the possibility of 5 tests on a weekly basis at high level of intensity, I can unfortunately see more tournament ending injuries. Up to 3 or 4 minimum. So replacements for the squad need to be on standby.

Well now that we've got that clear...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Scene: Referee's Dressing Room before Wallabies v England game. Marius Mitrea (Assist Ref 1) to Romain Poite: "What area of the game are you going to police the most?" Romain Poite (Referee): "Le Infringement a la scrum" George Clancy (Assist Ref 2): "Ah, you mean penalising Marler for angling...

    Reds 2016

So do you think we can get the fans to dress up as bunny rabbits, with Energizer batteries up their orifices to create a massively enthusiastic cheer squad for the Reds. (We gotta do something to get the players out of their rut).

I can't understand Cheika's logic here. Maybe he's thinking of next year & after. But, shit, I'd be using the best players I could. Especially when Carter has been out injured for a while.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

I posted this in the Wallabies V Uruquay thread, but thought I'd repeat it here for those who have now passed on from the earlier game: I think it is very important , in a tournament like this with its demanding nature on players as the slope gets steeper towards the finals, especially from...

RWC: AUS v URU (Villa Park, Birmingham): POOL A; 9pm (AEST) Sunday 27 September

I think it is very important , in a tournament like this with its demanding nature on players as the slope gets steeper towards the finals, especially from now on for the Wallabies, that the fly-half position is shared by the two specialist 5/8ths. Giteau has said he doesn't regard himself as a...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Well I started this thread on 18th Nov 2013, little realizing that it would amass 285,416 views and 7,346 replies. Nice going all. The RWC is now here, and more up-to-date threads have succeeded this one, which has not been posted to since 17th September, thus allowing it to go the way of other...

So an injury free game won 66 - 5 by the Wallabies. Just rub the lantern here.

Matfield is still a suburb line out jumper/tactician, probably still the best, but his age is effecting his input otherwise.

    Reds 2016

I saw an article (somewhere?) that advised a fullback from the Parramatta Eels was joining the Waratahs

    Reds 2016

Interesting article Qwerty. JOC (James O'Connor) fully fit along with Kurindrani, Karevi, Hunt ( the latter more settled to rugby now) will make for a strong outside backs combination. Now, if we can get a fit QC (Quade Cooper) back to the Reds, hmmmm.

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

Do Fiji have to pay their way to get to the ground. I know some of them had to pay their fares to go to training camp in Fiji.;)

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

I'm glad there are 4 pool games, 'cause this just doesn't totally grab me as our best side. At least with 4 games we can get an appreciation of what is our best side for the finals (assuming....). And even then, being a tournament, changes will be needed to maintain the fitness. All 31 players...

    RWC 2015

Can anyone direct me to a spreadsheet of the RWC fixtures, as I want to add my own notes etc e.g. highlight the games I want to watch. Even for me 88 games is a stretch too far.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

It's interesting that on both the GAGR postings and the media in general, that no one can really say with any confidence who the 1st XV will be V Fiji. I'm really wondering if that might be because the coaching staff also haven't finalised the team.o_O

That was my choice originally for this thread, but for some reason a moderator has changed the title. No big deal.

And for this reason, I cannot see us getting to the final, very well winning it. I only hope I'm wrong.
