That was simultaneously stupid as FUCK from DHP and a massive dive from Brown Funny how he just missed Hooper getting dumped on his head 5 feet in front of him at the ruck. I guess cleats in the air is normal at the breakdown in France??

Quade and Foley on the field at the same time, Speight on.. Did I miss someone getting injured/having a heart attack or are we just throwing in the towel?

They're playing for an undefeated 2016.

The English pack would also be licking their lips watching film of his body height in contact against Ireland. I think resting/benching him for this one was likely the right move, all things considered.

Ireland v Australia, Saturday 26 November

Echoing my thoughts entirely. The 2nd test against the All Blacks was the firm evidence for me that the Irish line out, while good, is not "that" good. The ABs line out in Chicago was just "that" bad.

Ireland v Australia, Saturday 26 November

I don't know how anyone can look at that pack and say that we're going to have a dynamism advantage over Ireland after the performances their forwards just put on against the ABs. Even more so with Henderson starting again. Don't feel good about this team sheet and I fear we are going to see...

    Reds 2017

What was the contracting situation with McIntyre like? Maybe they couldn't break his contract early so there just wasn't money to promote Mack

This is hugely risky if the 10 gets injured at any point early in the test.

French Barbarians v Australia, Thursday 24 November

We seem to have a large number of injuries occurring during training in general.

Smith is going home. Head clash with McMahon training before Paris test.

It's Wallabies XV not Australia A - no caps. Thor isn't eligible under IRB residency rules until next October (I think). I guess the IRB may still consider this some form of Australian rep side even without caps? Would not be the weirdest thing they have done.

Is he playing for the French Baabaas or something? I thought he was basically retired in Japanese rugby these days

France v Australia, Saturday 19 November

I don't think either of them are psrticularly complete 10s right now. Both have some glaring weaknesses, sort of a trend with Australian professional rugby. If we could stitch the two of them together Australia would be a whole different animal for other nations to deal with (but he'd still be...

France v Australia, Saturday 19 November

Thanks for clarifying Dru - I did think you were making a reference to the common argument about pairing the Super Rugby halves at test level. But like I said after this many years in Wallaby camp together for Foley and Genia to not be able to read eachother's play would be pretty alarming! At...

France v Australia, Saturday 19 November

Or that the importance of these halfback "combinations" is overblown and even the coaching staff doesn't see it as too much of a factor, as there was zero hesitation to put the hot hand at 9 and the hot hand at 10 on the paddock at the same time the moment they were both available - seemingly...

French Barbarians v Australia, Thursday 24 November

I'd wager that the ARU budget may have had something to do with limiting the size of the touring party until absolutely necessary.

Ireland v Australia, Saturday 26 November

I don't understand what the problem is. Why can't the entire squad practice in Paris in preparation for the Ireland match? I don't see how the change of scenery would do much to help them better prepare, especially when you're talking about cutting the squad down so much that they'd be unable...
