Insightful stuff Cat, good to see the games top players making such a positive impression.

Couple of good games today. Easts vs GPS should be an absorbing game at Bottomley. Wasn't much in it when these sides met in round 1 and good to see a couple of blokes back for Easts. Game of the round for mine is at Crosby Park where Brothers take on Sunnybank. The Bank will be desperate for...

Fuller will leave a big gap at Easts if he is away with the Force.

    Brumbies 2012

Gee, Fainga'a would be hard done by not even being in the 22. I thought he was one of the Brumbies best this last season.

Didn't realise he was a part of the Rebels set up. Hard bugger....

Hopefully he stays with Souths...sounds like they are struggling all of a sudden.

    2012 S15 SA Teams Movements

Good on Eddie B, better than waiting and hoping for an eventual crack at the Tah's. Watched a fair bit of him at school level. Very solid and dependable.

    Australian U/19 v. England

Have to admit that was my first thought, although Crook and Taumata made OZ schools out of Qld. Anyone you consider unlucky T12. I thought O'Hare the Souths loosy might be a chance. Not sure about Reiser but all the other Qld boys play Premier Grade so they shouldn't be intimidated coming up...

OZ Super 15 Roster 2012 - How does it work?

Just borrowing from another thread, there also appears to be an "Ëxtended squad". Not sure how many players fit here, nor how they might be compensated.

What Quade should have been doing

I agree that a good, honest hard worker is an asset, but...you can't coach genius or brilliance. Coopers tackling deficiencies do worry me but there has to be a way for coaches to get him to do the other stuff regularly. It's not that he's incapable, he has shown from time to time that he is.

I think I read that Robinson played for a Sydney club on the weekend. Not sure how that works given his Reds ties?

    Waratahs 2012

What exactly is"ëxtended squad"? Is this players outside the 35 player main squad and academy structure who are warehoused by S15 franchises on a very modest earner and the promise of maybe breaking into the squad? Something like Beau Robinson was in Qld this year perhaps? If that's the case...

OZ Super 15 Roster 2012 - How does it work?

I've seen bits and pieces in numerous threads and I'm not even sure whether there has been a thread dedicated to this, but how is next year going to work? As far as I can gather each Franchise will have a 30 man squad. Does this include rookie contracts or are they additional? If the latter...

What Quade should have been doing

Bit like comparing an apple to an orange Bullrush...wasn't Quade at the back on defence? It's a given, Carter is a way better defender, and Cooper really needs to improve his defensive game but, Carter had more opportunity to make tackles. I'm wondering whether, with an erratically...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2011

You could be right Ika, I wasn't aware of the Western Force connection for Murphy. I guess my point was that all of the guys I mentioned were playing Brisbane Premiers without being part of an Academy setup and gained recognition purely from their form in the competition. Although I guess Dallan...

Great report..thanks Tigerland12. That win should keep the Tigers in second spot and they cant be far off confirming a final four spot.

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

Great intensity from the Blacks tonight, by far the better team. The commentators were remarking that this was the oldest All Black side or something like that.... experience in pressure situations counts for plenty I guess. Who was the official man of the match..Dan Carter? The man is a legend!

From the results I've heard today I had another crap tipping week. Uni and Sunnybank was close at half time I hear but Uni ran away with it in the second half. Not sure of the score. Easts were apparently 22-0 winners over Souths, good result for the Tigers. Be interested to know who played...
