Daugugu is a huge loss IMO. One of very few line bending backs we currently had. Lots of talented players but besides the injury prone Petaia and Paisami I don't see anyone else with that ability.

Perhaps for QPR something like current Reds and previous QPR players for other clubs only being given exception for finals?

I reckon Lucas and Lynagh would be fighting it out pretty hard for the 10 spot if they were competing next year. Big fan of Lynagh but he still has a huge amount of development and experience to gain. Certainly wouldn't hurt having Lucas. Then you have injuries. I'd like to have a 2 quality...

I don't think Lawson has shown much, JOC (James O'Connor) will be gone soon. Suspect Campbell will be too if Eddie doesn't show any interest. Lucas would be a good get for the right price to cover 10 and 15 imo. He has the experience now as well.

Eddie has made mention of Leota a couple times. I suspect he is a big fan. Reckon Eddie will give him all the time and a fair few chances at making the rwc squad. Does anyone know the extent of his injury and when he is expected to be fit?

On that the Reds should absolutely make a play for Hockings and Lucas. Both quality players. Not sure they will come back though, the two of the could set themselves up for life over the next 10 years in Japan.
