I think using Thorn in a coaching capacity when the 20's are done would be great. I would assume he'd be happy to take the players on in training. I don't really see the point in him playing as it will take away the development of another player.

Just because he doesn't think GPS will win doesn't mean he doesn't support the club. I have a Reds logo in my posts and think they will loose a heap of games.

From what I hear Carmichael was getting involved in the rugby department pretty early on in his tenure.

I'm not advocating getting Mooney involved but he also won the Premier Rugby comp in 2007 with Wests. Also should be noted that Damon Emtage was the backs/skills coach at the Reds when Mooney was there.

I'm pretty sure one coaching session could fix some of McIntyre's issues. Simple as "Run straight and lock in the defensive line before you pass the ball". One board meeting could go a long way to fixing the Reds issues too. I'd be happy with O'Connor as head coach for the rest of the season...

Greene could play 15 too. Not sure how comfortable I'd be with McIntyre and Greene at 10 and 12.

That would be close to the best team the Reds could field at the moment. I am hoping that Hunt at 12 provides what we all want. Great to see Junior on the bench. Give him some ball in space and hopefully he can replicate his NRC form.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the teams deliver. I liked what I saw from the Force in the first half last week. Reds will want to get a win at home.

I thought the ball was released quicker when Gale came on but I think there were other factors in play. Frisby was best at the start of the second half when he was trying to speed things up.

Yeah I've had an issue with the forward set up of phase play at the Reds for a while now. How they expect to make metres standing flat footed off the ruck with a rush defence is beyond me. We need them to hit the ball at pace and dent the line. I'd also love to see the ball out of the rucks...

Who cares about the sub. This is a Reds thread, if you have an issue with the prop subs from the game discuss in the game thread. Here we will wallow in our self pity about the Reds being down by 20 points and a prop being binned that would have no effect on the game.

I think Goromaru will provide plenty of points. He will start from this week I think and we will take every shot on offer to put pressure on the other team. Might not be pretty but we have few options at the moment.
