    Where to for Super Rugby?

Depends on what happens over the next few years. Australian teams become competitive again and the comp gets less complicated - who knows. People just want to see good rugby and know that the teams they support can win on any given game. They will tune in and watch if that happens. And...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Yeah - it does. The way I see it: NZ wants Super Rugby cos it gives them access to the massively larger market. And we know that it is the best place to develop the next ABs. Part of why we like we like SA SARU wants it because it's the best place to develop the next Boks. Part of why they they like NZ...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The NZRU, ARU and SARU all want Super Rugby to continue - I doubt that it will be gone after 2020. Done right, it is actually a fantastic product and culling 3 teams is an effort to getting it right. Unfortunately the Force bear the brunt of that (I would have ditched the Rebels) but...

The change in Ruck Involvements by Australian Open Side Flankers.

@ForceFan - I remember the stats you put up in 2015 for many of the ABs games in the RWC year. I remember being amazed at how many RIs Richie McCaw had - most games he was in the Top 3 for the ABs if not No.1. I'll be interested to see what Sam Cane's numbers were like for the BIL series. It...

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

Yeah I have seen it and yes - Vunipola makes contact with Barrett's head. And if this is "nowhere near the ruck" then it's little wonder Australian team struggle to beat the ABs at the ruck area. (arrows added for @cyclopath - LOL) I'm not too upset by the whole thing - judiciary...

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

Whereas Vunipola's wasn't stupid or dangerous? Vunipola's could have easily been a red AND it should have been looked at by the judiciary. I am hoping that the off-side is policed better in the last Test as well. I have thought all year during the Super Rugby games that the off-side line has all but...

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

OK. I had read that he failed it which is what made me wonder how it hadn't been punished at the judiciary.

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

I just read that Naholo failed the concussion test after the O'Brien swinging arm but the citing got dismissed?!? And I thought they were taking head contact seriously...

Ummm - no. Hopefully the ABs get their own justice with a win at Eden Park

The inconsistency of SBW getting 4 weeks while Vunipola got nothing is a little discouraging but hardly surprising.

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

Yeah - I didn't get caught up in it, I've learned not to let the refs calls get to me too much BUT given the call against the Canes not much earlier, I thought it was harsh.

I'd take Stander over Faletau if the performances here are worth anything at all. I think Stander has more go forward ball-in-hand than Faletau.

Yep. I said exactly the same thing. Bit of a joke considering the off-side penalty he handed out to the 'Canes a minute or so earlier.

    CJ Stander is a beast.

Poite called a pretty harsh off-side on the Hurricanes early in the game and has promptly forgotten all about the off-side line since.

Cruden should have a word to Quade about tackling in the front line. Has a huge ticker for a little guy...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Or you just cut the consistently worst team in the conference if not the competition.

    Refereeing decisions

I don't think that it's actually a line-out. It's a quick throw in before the line-out has set. Once it has, the line-out has formed and the quick throw cannot be taken.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It's not trolling. The ARU has to cut one team. I don't see what the fuss is about to be honest. Just cut the 3 teams that need to be cut and let's get back to hving a great rugby competition. It's clear that Australian rugby doesn't have the depth yet to sustain 5 teams at this level.

    Refereeing decisions

^^This has been a bug-bear of mine for the last few years. Guys getting up and running without letting go of the ball should be penalised. The off-side line seems to be more of a guideline than a law this year too
