    Refereeing decisions

We are definitely looking at different pics there is no wrapping of arms in the stills you posted and even if he did, it makes no difference at all given he made contact with the head. The 2nd & 3rd stills - the ones that show contact to the head - show Hodge's arm at his side. The last still...

    Refereeing decisions

Actually, I never said that you made the case that Hodge got it worse. I said twice that Kearns did and that's what actually pissed me off. You can fuck yourself all you like but what I did was ask what is the argument you are trying to make by posting all the stills and then saying "im not...

    Refereeing decisions

I'm sure Fijians might see it differently. Possibly their best player up till that point was taken out by head shot and the culprit doesn't get any on-field sanction. If Yato was/is concussed and he can't play the next game, that would be a real shame. edit: Looks like it's confirmed that Yato...

    Refereeing decisions

So you posted all the stills to say that you think apart from the video footage and the HIA assessment showing head contact, the stills don't show it as clearly as you would like?!?

    Refereeing decisions

What matters is what you actually did and previous record - intent, not so much. Barrett's sanction wasn't reduced because of anything to do with what he was attempting to do but because of good history.

    Refereeing decisions

What you attempt to do and what you actually do are obviously two different things. It matters little what Hodge attempted to do, what he actually did was hit another player in the head which saw him miss the rest of the game with a possible concussion.

    Refereeing decisions

The 2nd and 3rd stills easily show where shoulder made contact to the head - and also show no arms. When you see the visible impact on the video and the player then fails the HIA, trying to argue that there was no contact to the head. And arguing that Hodge got it worse than Yato like Kearns did...

RWC 2019 Week 1 Other Games match thread

Nah...it's just kiwis are used to playing against/with the polynesian brothers. We've been getting hit by them from the very first U5's rugby training....

    Refereeing decisions

Not ambiguous at all.....Hodge hit him high in the head with no arms....just like Scott Barrett more recently did Hooper.... Red Card

    Refereeing decisions

Phil Kearns is such an idiot....listening to him defend Hodge's high, no arms hit on Yato by saying that Hodge came off worse is just disgusting. Yato failed his HIA and was out for the rest of the game with possible concussion and Hode played on and scored a try....FML Should have been a...

So is the soccer played in Australia played under different rules played everywhere else in the world?

    The Wallabies Thread

Wayne Smith. I think it is widely recognised that he was the coach who set-up the Crusaders framework and culture which is still largely in place today. I think the Chiefs won their titles while he was an assistant there. Head coach of the ABs but also assistant to both Henry and Hansen. The...

    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

So..my cousin spent most of week before last inside the All Black camp in Sydney. Watched them train, the drills they ran, talked to the coaches, was in the closed sessions etc. He said that it was quite eye-opening getting an insight into what the AB coaches look for in players and the skills...

My last 4-5yrs in NZ, I played social rugby for Ponsonby and BeeGee was always around every Saturday helping out, talking to people and supporting tye club. When I went back home around Easter, it was great to run into him at a Blues game - just a nice man all round really and yeah, a good role...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'm not sure if this was directed at me or the ARU but if it was me - Did you miss where "I would have axed the Rebels."

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Which is why I think SANZAAR are desperate to hold on to the Sunwolves and the Jaguars - for the bigger audiences. I think SA really want to stay with NZ and AUS because they know playing the best is how develop the best. It wasn't that long ago that SANZAR were considered the best rugby...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Can't argue with how you feel Moono - like I said, I would have axed the Rebels. But I do think that something had to change in the Australian conference. I understand why the Jaguars and Sunwolves were brought in and why they want to keep them in but who knows if it will payoff. If the...
