    Quarter Final - Brumbies vs Highlanders, 22 July 2016 @ 6:00pm

The 6pm start on a Friday night is not great by any stretch, add the shocking weather and its the perfect storm for not attracting the crowd. The icy wind tunnel that swirls over Bruce with torrential rain rushing from work isn't an attractive proposition....

I agree on your comments about his style. My point is that when he was in his interview the other day he was having to justify to the media about why he may not play "running rugby". It was silly

    Quarter Final - Brumbies vs Highlanders, 22 July 2016 @ 6:00pm

Almost every interview with any Australian rugby coach there are questions about "how are you going to play?" Then there are these pointless statements about "running rugby". Bernie was doing it just yesterday.

Super Rugby Matches without a match thread

I think it's a pretty sound move by the Lions given the travel factor. The SA teams haven't backed up well after the long road trip home from Argentina. They will be concentrating on getting their first playoff win ever as a franchise. They haven't been in the finals since Laurie Mains was...

    Blues v Brumbies - Friday 8 July 2016

Mogg was an excellent Super rugby in 2012-13. Sweeping boot, but plenty of counter attack. I remember him scoring some decent tries from his own ball running and on the end of some decent attack. But even in those years I recall plenty of midfield bombing by a number of their backs. I think I...

That third Highlanders try was sweet

    Waratahs v Hurricanes, round 16, 9 July 2016

Yeah the big fella has a number of work ons defensively and positioning. In attack he's not too bad, although I thought he could've gone with a lower body height when he was tackled into touch near the try line by Barrett. Slightly off topic but I am still very amazed that he made the...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

I don't think the Bledisloe Cup matches and their subsequent results will tell us anything about where England are at. I know its fun for commentators and fans to jump to conclusions about these things but a rugby game over 80 minutes has far too many variables to draw connections with games...

And a pretty good strategy, which begs the question, what was the strategy for the use of Palu? Yes the injury to Simmons and Skrlton really struggling with the pace at the 55 minute mark forced MC's hand somewhat. Or was it simply more a case of giving Wycliff an opportunity.

Not sure about the resting of players WO. I haven't heard any directive coming from the AB camp or the franchises. I'd say the game is too important to rest players. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

I don't think Oz played all that bad overall, but I think one of the bigger concerns out of this is not whether they played better, worst or the same as their opposition, but that these losses occurred on home soil. That's a massive confidence blow. Most top teams even when they are outplayed...

New Zealand v Wales, 3rd Test

Haha, Sopoaga played what 15-20 minutes and he was the best 1st 5?? And how is Fekitoa the best 12 when he didn't even play there?

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

But not without their issues too. Credit to both sides, they played pretty good attacking footy. Some poor execution by OZ did gift possession to England, but OZ also put England to the sword in attack. England's forwards were superb. The subbing off of the young openside from Rotorua Boys...

Wow, 44 points. Can't remember the last time England scored that many against a top nation.
