    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Robbo came to the Tahs as a THP, he was moved to loose head because they had Kepu at tight head. To my knowledge he's played loose head pretty much ever since.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

The two I don't get are FF (Folau Fainga'a) and Banks, I guess it's just a lack of viable alternatives, although Rennie was singing Bank's praises during the week, I just don't see it, that's all. Slipper must have just been given a rest last week, he had previously done nothing to get dropped, and nor had Bell...

Certainly agree re the second row Eastman, and I think we are also short at THP. I don't see No 8 as a huge problem, between Rahboni, Swinton, Harris and Sinclair I think we have 6 and 8 covered, then of course Hanigan is to return later in the season. 15 is also a problem, I see the candidates...

I think Caird re-signed, I see him as preferable to Whetton. My thoughts are Holloway and Douglas as locks with Caird off the bench. I would prefer to see Perese at 13, he was really effective there last year, Ramm and Peitsch on the wings, probably Donaldson at 15. Not sure where you fit...

RC - Wallabies vs Springboks, Gold Coast Sunday 12 September 8:05 PM

Quade's rugby and citizenship are two totally different things, and should never be considered together. The cheap political shot should be recognised as exactly what it is. Not saying he should or should not be granted citizenship, it should just happen under exactly the same rules as everyone...

Sorry Dan54, I wasn't suggesting it was exclusively used by sides without attacking options, everyone attempts it, however I am suggesting those are the sides that would strongly oppose its' removal. I think taking down the player at the front may be dangerous, my thoughts are simply that if the...

I agree with the above comments about the maul. It really is simply a legal method of obstruction, something outlawed in any other part of the game. To me, the idea of sticking seven big forward in front of the ball carrier and trundling him over the line is contrary to everything else we do in...

    3. Cooper 2. Kerevi 3. Valetini Swinton would have got points for a huge first half, but blotted his copy-book in the 2nd with the no-arms tackle and a couple of loose carries.

Just on Bell and the scrum, the first time he was penalised was fair, the second time the Bok THP quite clearly over-extended and 'pancaked', the penalty quite clearly went the wrong way. And it wasn't the first time it happened, earlier when the Bok THP over-extended the ref simply re-set the...

You can't develop someone if they haven't got it in the first place, and I never saw anything from Mason to suggest he had. At least the Tahs and Reds were playing Australians, The Force, Brumbies and Rebels were all playing overseas players!

The QC (Quade Cooper) selection reminds me of the punter who has had a bad day, and puts everything on the favourite in the last at Grafton as a get-out-of-gaol! I fully accept he is one of the most talented 10's we've had for a long, long time, but with that comes a heap of baggage, in no particular order a)...

Not convinced by Petaia I'm afraid. Wonderful athlete and dangerous runner with the ball, full stop. Poor positional play in defence (not saying he can't tackle), takes poor options, poor ball security. Possibly off the bench at best, but for mine needs a solid, injury free Super season at least...

    Wallabies 2021

I don't get that, because Lolesio wasn't our worst, he therefore is the best choice at 10 for us to win the test. There were other ordinary performances, To'omua for example, and I wouldn't be selecting him either. Paisami also had perhaps his worst game in gold, but he isn't available anyway...

    Wallabies 2021

If Lolesio gives us our best chance of winning the test (not my opinion, but certainly that of others) then play him at 10. My opinion is, of those available, our best chance is Hodge. However, what I strongly disagree with is the concept of sticking with someone who's not ready because he's the...

    Wallabies 2021

JOC (James O'Connor) was clearly the best Aus 10 in Super rugby this year, Lolesio next. However, IMO Lolesio, for all his potential, has established test rugby v a side as good as the AB's is a year or two early for him. Hodge had a test at 10 and was pretty solid, and while he is certainly no long-term fix, I...
