Your goal keeper point is also ironic, given there is literally goalkeepers who specialise in shootouts compared to starting matches. Pressure matters. Moreso in the sport then most jobs.

I think we have been over this already. I'm sure at least 2 of Fainga's missed throws were crucial line-outs in the last 5minutes of games. Despite your stats I'm still more stressed with Fainga throwing. He has missed crucial line-outs for the Brumbies too whereas I wonder if Porecki's stats...

Sorry but you have to compare his performance to the alternative. Which is Gordon, who also had a poor game, with a yellow card. IMO one is not clearly worse then other. Both are equally poor.

He's also a good goal kicker. He slotted a difficult match winner this year. He could have been the hero where Donaldson failed.

Perception is key. Plus Fainga's personality doesn't help, always in the middle of niggle, backchat, and ref's giving him warnings.

Maybe they are giving Noah/JOC (James O'Connor)/Foley complete control to call the play, and they are just less likely to call the play to themselves.
