He Captained the Reds so he's experienced as a leader. H wouldn't be any worse then Slipper or Hooper.

Or Coleman for Tonga. All these overseas players we forget about, or improve overseas and become viable international options, makes you think Australia can have more then 5 super rugby teams.

Sounds exactly like what we need right now.

Australia A - Back on the Cards

I wouldn't have been surprised if Luke Reimer was named in the squad.

Banks could also be considered for RWC. Rennie seems to be keeping close tabs on him.

WTF, why wasn't the 3rd string Brumbies 7 picked??!!

Yeh i think the refs should call 'use it', then call 'balls out' after a 3-5 secs which allows opposition to come up. The ref should count 3 seconds or so in his head. I like the idea this isn't exactly 3 seconds and a bit of differential between rucks and refs to stop opposition teams just...

I don't know if it's about selecting the incumbent of the best franchise but choosing the best available player to win the test. Simone is the next best. Simple as that. Who is better and available? No-one. So the argument is really: should you pick the best available players Or should you...

I always rated Morahan. How old is he now? Any news on his form?

    Wallabies 2023

No he wasn't. Banks was clearly the best fullback. Didn't Petaia take the Reds fullback spot off Campbell for a handful of games too? So it's hard to argue he could even lock down the starting spot at the Reds. Wright was the best winger, and his 2 game stint at fullback for Brumbies was...

Are they televising it? Hopefully on Stan.

Usually the most successful super team of that year gets priority. Surely this is a consistent trend.

As a Brumbies fan, he has point about Pollard, I thought that was a crazy selection. Or even Longeran. I think every Brumbies reserve Hooker has been part of the squad now. I don't agree on Simone or any other Brumby selection, there is plenty of evidence they deserved to be there, and no...

And also some of the best. Gregan/Larkham era.

Hodge way to slow for 14, but I do like the idea of Hodge 15, Kellaway 14. I think Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) will be a smokey next year.

Good point. Our support play, and even kick-chase has been below par for years now. I just don't get it. It's like they are surprised every time a break is made.

Scrum: You say Bell was poor for his first couple of scrums. So how many scrums did he actually take part in? 4? Cos that means he loses 50% of the time. There is no room to be "outsmarted" a couple of times in Test rugby. Maybe once, definitely not twice. Line-out: I agree line-outs where...
