Wallabies v France, Paris, Sun 6th Nov 7am AEDT

Tate's long passing early on was beautiful, but then he just got worse and worse. His short passing was high and players catching it were immediately flat footed and high body height. When White came on there was an immediate difference. It's such a shame because Tate was actually still very...

I agree on Banks. Although it's only been one game back from injury, maybe worth one final chance. I feel the same about Foley. What's the point in selecting him. He is far from demanding selection and he is taking up an overseas spot. His goal kicking was about the only good thing, but Noah's...

    Australian Rugby / RA

Bring in a domestic comp I say, but need more teams. Make 10 teams, 2 in Sydney, 2 in Brisbane, Canberra, Melb, Perth, Fiji, and 2 more. Who cares if the standard drops, to be honest, the more amateur games are probably better spectacles to watch, they flow better and have more tries. Twiggy...

Come on BR, I like Wright, but that tap and go was not on.

Does anyone know exactly what happened? He obviously lost control of Beale the team.

Stats would be handy, but impact can be subjective. It would be hard to measure. Hanigan is a probably a prime example of how subjective it is.

True, that balance is starting to look better. Except I don't think Philip is all that impactful compared to the others.

    Wallabies 2023

I agree with that if there's balance in the pack. I wouldn't like to see him in the same team as Holloway. Given the injures I actually don't mind him in the squad, I just think he's never going to be a long-term solution. I could see him at 6 or lock. if Skelton starts. That might be the...

    Wallabies 2023

It's the fact i saw on my television he receive the ball on the wing and then ran into the opposite winger (who was an actual winger, and made 0 metres). The stats for that is 1 out of 1. Serious answer. Does it pass the vibe check?

He has improved but still lacks impact.

    Wallabies 2023

Actually many posters here are still agreeing that Hanigan lacks impact.

For a future coach, surely the flood gates open after the RWC23. Scott Robinson and Eddie Jones should be options, although probably difficult to get on board. Maybe Jamie Joseph could be a chance. I love this idea as I feel we should be playing a more similar style to Japan (as we don't seem...

    Wallabies 2023

I feel like I have been watching a different Aus A series. I didn't see him win many collisons or make any dominate tackles. I recall him being tackled easily by wingers several times. He was a workhorse though. I hope I am wrong. Because he does everything right besides the impact.

    Wallabies 2023

First I heard about Will Harris being a potential option. Will he even get game time with the likes of Gleeson, Hooper, Gamble, Swinton, Sinclair, Holloway, Hanigan at the Tahs? I'd hope Gleeson start at 8.

    Wallabies 2023

I agree on Hanigan. His workrate, low error rate, and consistency in Aus A got him selected. But his lack of impact is telling (especially against wingers). I think Uru should have come into contention, I think his last game was great, he was impactful, especially around the edges, he was...

    Wallabies 2023

He played superbly well in his first 2 games in the England series. It's funny how quickly we forget about the good performances when a player has a few stinkers. Personally, I think he he makes too many errors for Test rugby, but he certainly does have a cracking highlight reel and...

I agree if your comparing Vunivalu and Wright. But if it were me I'd probably take Peitch over the both of them. Or even Muirhead. Both less athletic but much better decision makers.

Australia A v Japan XV matches

It's important to remember Noah's drawbacks really only came to light after playing a handful of games at the highest level. Why we think Donaldson or Edmed would perform any better when they haven't performed markedly better then Noah at lower levels is an interesting expectation. Donaldson...

Well Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) is pretty damn good with ball in hand, so strong in contact and always get's an arm free to offload. I think Uru was pretty good too. I like him as an option at 6 now, and he can be used in the line-out effectively too!

Obviously no where near Kefu but his running style (and head gear) remind me a lot of him. I would say the impact part is impressive to nail down at such a young age. Especially at this level.
