Totally agree with your points. One thing to remember is that the Kiwis are playing with different expectations around the ruck (more strict). This leads to cleaner, quicker ball and better attack and poorer defense. I think we will be in trouble if we play to those expectations from discipline...

I'd have loved a win, but happy for the Rebels that they get another week. Just glad it was a close match to end the season on a relative high. A pasting would have been disheartening for a while to come.

I saw it that way and I was appalled. We were totally still in the game at that point and the ref ruined it. More seriously, I thought the turnover that led to Reds possession at that point was dodgy but the try looked fine to me.

The short answer is yes, but maybe slightly less so. In my experience, AFL fans in WA are open-minded about rugby- not threatened about it. You'd probably get a few to games if you had a winning team.
