    Six Nations 2014

Saturdays game all depends on how Ireland defend. For some reason since 2011 Les Kiss has thought its a good idea to play a drift defence against Wales, except the first 50 minutes in Cardiff last year when we smashed you. If we defend aggressively I think our set piece, maul and better half...

    Six Nations 2014

Good win for Ireland, John Plumtree's influence is taking hold very early. The forwards rucked and mauled superbly. The Scots looked like they could play all day and still not score a try, very unimaginative with ball in hand

    Six Nations 2014

Its tough to like any team that contains Dylan Hartley and Courtney Lawes, poor cheap shot merchants. That said England are a lot more likeable than they were under Johnson. Stuart Lancaster has improved their image a hell of a lot.

    Six Nations 2014

Strange how weak Englands scrum has been over the past few years. Their scrum has been the weakest in the tournament for a few years and there doesn't appear to be any young scrummaging props coming through. They are all good ball carriers but can't carry out their primary function.

    Six Nations 2014

Our backs aren't great but our pack and John Plumtree are going to hopefully win us the championship. We're going to maul every team off the park and build our wins off that. If Best, Cronin and O'bStrauss can hit their targets in the lineout it won't matter who we have 11-15. David Wallace...

I take it your confident ahead of Sunday then?

    Waratahs 2014

I've seen those cabs, I thought they were last years ads? Shows what happens when you dont have the contact lenses in

    Waratahs 2014

The Tahs need to go something in their marketing department. All summer on TV I've been bombarded with ads about NRL memberships, Auckland 9's etc etc. I struggle to recall seeing even a billboard advertising Tahs memberships.

    Six Nations 2014

Can't wait for the tournament to start, anyone care to venture a final table? 1. England (4 wins) 1. Ireland (4 wins) 1. France (4 wins) 4. Wales (2 wins) 5. Italy (1 wins) 6 Scotland (0 wins)

He is wearing 7 but playing blindside, the French number their blind/opensides in the same manner as the Saffers. He has been asked to carry ball for them which is almost alien to him, I think getting used to carrying has sapped his defensive energy a bit.

    Waratahs 2014

Lessons learned from last year by the coaching ticket, if we'd have kicked our goals we would have made finals. Even if it is only part time this is a step in the right direction

    Sydney Subbies 2014

Whilst Irish havent lost anyone from their GF team of last year I'm not sure how they'll go in the first grade this year. Even if St George have lost a couple surely they'll still be very strong in first grade if they have the bones of their winning team from last year? Right now I'd have to...

    BRU vs WAR - Super Rugby - Round 5 - 15th March 2014

There were about 20 Tahs supporters in the Away bay last year, which isn't that great a view. I'd do what BH suggests and get normal tickets for a better view.

    Six Nations 2014

Interesting Wales team, thought that Gatlands pet project would play 7 but Wales are a lot better in attack with Tipuric there. Wales also have some dangerous ball carriers in Hibbard and Faletau in the pack, and their back 3 although suspect in defence is lightening in attack. However I don't...

    Six Nations 2014

In fairness its tough to argue a case for a lot of those left out, although I will say Fergus McFadden can feel lucky to be included. Any of the 50:50 calls won't feature in the 23 anyway. I think we'll see a fair bit of rotation this championship outside of our key players (Healy, Best, POC...

    Six Nations 2014

Not too many surprises in the Ireland squad, disappointed Earls is injured was looking forward to seeing him get a run. Zebo only has himself to blame, from what I hear his attitude hasn't been great since the Lions tour. I've got a feeling that Marty Moore will start against Scotland and Mike...

    Waratahs 2014

It has been an Australian problem for a long time, I'm struggling to understand it. Becoming a good goal kicker is about practice, practice, practice with a coach ensuring you have a good technique. I addressed this before in a different thread but there just seems to be something in the...

    Northern Hemishpere Rugby 2013

At least one of your regions is doing its bit of developing and retaining Scottish talent. The other unfortunately seems to be turning into a club for rejected Saffers and Aussies.

    Waratahs 2014

None of those place kickers fill me with confidence. Without a 90% kicker its going to be tough to secure a home finals spot, we missed out on about at least 8 or so points last year due to poor kicking and something similar this year will be disastrous.

    Northern Hemishpere Rugby 2013

In fairness to Halfpenny he is the only major Welsh international who looks bothered about playing for his franchise, he performances stand head and shoulders above the likes of Warburton, Adam Jones and Faletau. How he'll fair playing with his attitude in 35 games + next season is another story.
