Over the years we have hyped up player movements particularly guys straight from schoolboy rugby but really what is the initial impact that they have first year out? I think it takes most guys a year or two in premier grade to find consistency of performance at that level unless you are an out...

I've heard he won't be lacing up for the Gallopers in 2022.

Someone said here recently that Picone hasn't done anything wrong by RA - well he may not be so popular now in the corridors at North Sydney!!

Will be interesting to see where the Rebels head back to for club rugby in 2022 - I think you’ll now see guys go home to where they come from I.e. Shute Shield or now QPR I think the relationships between Wests, GPS, Easts & Brothers in 2021 has been good for future opportunities because in the...

Easts could have some back row depth & experience in 2022 if they have Milosovic, (former Bulldog) Alex Smit, Wilkin, Ed Quirk, Michael Gunn. Add Wright & Uru late season.

I saw Brad Wilkin ran out/set to run out for Easts late season. I thought he was at the Rebels as well or maybe he’s hoping to get time with the Reds. Does anyone know where he’s at?

It’s a crazy thing that the Force has been made relevant again due to the crazy COVID world in which we live. Well done to all in the West for keeping them afloat. It would be great if they could experience some on field success in 2022.

This is extraordinary that Colts 2, 3 & 4 have been shared - just a sign of what crazy times we live in. Happy Father’s Day to all. Easts lead 7-0 in the women’s GF at the 30 minute mark.

Brothers & Easts colts 3 GF finished 24all & co-premiership. Continues the run of shared championships for these clubs: 2020 Doughty Shield, & 2021 Colts 4 (GF not played due to COVID). Well done to both clubs who are obviously running great colts programs of recent times.

My mother always said that it was important to be a good loser but it was even more important to be a good (humble) winner. If you did a count of the whingy/whiny posts by club supporters on this forum over the years GPS would win this category every year. Congratulations on that level of...

That will do me a GPS supporter preaching humility!!! I respectfully believe that you need to look in your own back yard and stop bagging other clubs. The Yoku Rd way is not the only way to run a club. I would like to acknowledge the great achievement by the GPS club to be playing in all 3...

    1. I thought that this is the QPR thread? 2. Why do GPS contributors to this thread continually talk their club up and disparage other clubs on this forum? 3. objectively a team (Easts Colts) that finishes minor premiers and holds their semi final opponent to nil needs to be given some level of...

Why was the Premier grade semi final played at the home ground of one of the teams contesting the game? Or was it a case of who whinges the loudest wins a prize? Not only must justice be done it must be seen to be done.

GPS should just take their medicine re reserve grade because from what I hear they could maybe have lost competition points from their game against Easts when they ran a player on for last 5 minutes following an unusual blue & yellow card - they clearly didn’t realise the yellow -they won the...

Dear All I appreciate that we all love our club rugby - I have come to enjoying it more than watching the Reds/Wallabies - but let’s put this all in perspective I’d rather be in Brisbane than Sydney at present and if the lockdowns stuff around the end of the club season in Brisbane then we just...

The exemption re 6 games played only stands for Reds players not from other provinces. Going back a number of years GPS tried to get Hegarty who was with the Rebels at the time cleared for finals but the QRU said it only applies to players contracted to the Reds so any out of town Super Rugby...

That's my understanding too Reg - I don't think any of them will qualify. I think they had to be registered by 3 July & play 6 games.

I don’t have a great deal of sympathy for Snbk as from what I understand their grants from the community club finished up about 6 years ago. They had a good run when they got the cash and paid a large number of reds players, maybe it would have been better to spend that money on consolidating...
