Ok it has changed then. Do all Australian Super rugby players have RA contracts or could they just be contracted to their Super club?

Also team finals qualification - if two teams/clubs finish on same competition points the first parameter used to split them is games won, then if the same it goes to for and against, then if still not split it might go to tries scored and lastly a coin toss.

Contracted player finals qualification exemptions relate to Reds contracted players not players of other Super franchises they need to play 6 games to qualify.

I thought Dammers was in for the long haul at Chipsy Wood. Will he be heading elsewhere? What have Souths got internally? Would one of the Kefs step up or is BBC to good to walk away from?

I don’t know whether Uni are building they have moved Pat Morey into lock and their scrum was taught a lesson against Easts. But I am not as naive as to write off Uni’s chances - they’ll be there when the whips are cracking in the finals.

You have got better eye sight than me if from the grandstand at Uni over the athletics track you can tell what is going on in the front row battle. The refs can’t and they are 3 feet away!!

It is strange - is something is going down? Most guys want to play in the highest grade they can except at Chipsy Wood! I won’t poke the South’s bear and dare to ask - please explain!

I’m interested in the development of good young players at all clubs. Josh has represented Australian 7s so I’m interested in his progress at XV’s.

A more interesting point is why did Josh Coward leave Souths for Easts mid-season? Was it just a case of opportunity elsewhere or something more sinister? He’s played for a few clubs now.
