Also George Blake and Spencer Jeans are on the bench for Bond.Had a quick look through the team lists on Rugby Xplorer and can’t see any Reds’ players down as playing.

Is the flyhalf for UQ - Declan MacGuire - the former GPS player? One of the blokes who owns Science of Fitness and they’re looking after UQ this year as well.
If so, that’s quite the rise for him. He was mostly a thirds player at GPS (with not exactly a great lineup of fly halves ahead of him). I wonder how long he is seat warming for Lynagh.
Ahhh true, yeh wouldn’t be him then, the GPS Declan would be close to 30 now.Different one I think. UQ one played Colts 1 in the GF for UQ a couple of years ago.
not named on rugby Explorer team list
There were two outlier tips by the QPR tipsters today, can’t remember who tipped them - but The Bank and Bond, both got up.Massive result for the dragons today.
Hopefully the springboard to bigger and better things.
The disrespect (and that's putting it lightly) being given to our refs by players and coaches has got out of hand in my view across all teams. Quite simply, it has to stop now and the QRU and clubs need to step up and support our officials to ensure we can continue to play the game we all love. I have seen and heard some disgraceful "banter" this season.Another Brothers trainer in hot water yesterday with the referee after Bond Uni second try in Prem Grade.
Has Matt Lodge had any further commitments with Norths? I see his name in the paper today linking to some NRL sides so I figured he might be done.
I think Declan has been at UQ for a number of years after starting in Colts program. Is the flyhalf for UQ - Declan MacGuire - the former GPS player? One of the blokes who owns Science of Fitness and they’re looking after UQ this year as well.

Eli Pilz and Josh Coward both started 3rd grade for Easts that day and then started Premier Grade 2 weeks later. They are not just Reserve Grade players but established Premier Grade players. That's probably a vibe thing as well. I don't think any club can argue innocence with this sort of happenings. No mate - the rule is that guys from higher grades should not be playing in lower grade when higher games are cancelled - it is just a vibe thing - not in the spirit of club rugby - wouldn’t meet the pub test IMO.
If a guy is selected in a second grade team for that week he shouldn’t play 3rd grade if the second grade game doesn’t go ahead. It’s clearly a breach of the competition rules.
