That’s a shame. I think the Reds popularity took a big hit this season, crowds were down generally and the back end results obviously very disappointing.
It would have been good to get some of the more headlining players to run around even for 20mins in clubland and get some of that exposure, free marketing for the Wallabies upcoming tours etc.

The disrespect (and that's putting it lightly) being given to our refs by players and coaches has got out of hand in my view across all teams. Quite simply, it has to stop now and the QRU and clubs need to step up and support our officials to ensure we can continue to play the game we all love. I have seen and heard some disgraceful "banter" this season.

Eli Pilz and Josh Coward both started 3rd grade for Easts that day and then started Premier Grade 2 weeks later. They are not just Reserve Grade players but established Premier Grade players. That's probably a vibe thing as well. I don't think any club can argue innocence with this sort of happenings.

I think you’ll find that these players were coming back from injury not listed to play in higher grades on that day. The rule specifically says that if you are chosen in a higher grade (ie. listed to start in Rugby explorer) and the higher grade game is canceled you cannot then play (start or off the bench) in a lower grade on that day. It is not just a good will or vibe thing it’s the rules - I just raise the vibe as the purpose of the rule. Or are Souths exempt from the rules of the competition?
