    The Wallabies Thread

Question: So when is it about 'the team', and when is it about the 'individual'?! I am, of course referring to Israel Folau. Should he have declared his on-going painful ankle injury, or should he have continued to play like an "average # 15" from any suburban or country club? After all, it...

    The Wallabies Thread

Thanks Tex, I stand corrected. The headline I saw just said MC was to go to the UK to coach. Not incorrect, however, as you infer, far from a regular UK coaching contract!

Is it true that MC is off to the UK to coach? If so, don't give too many secrets away Michael, and keep an eye out for those pesky English photo-journalists!!

    Ideas for Australian Rugby Union

I assume Quade needs two more tests to reach the "magic 60"! So let's say that two international "7s" games equals one test match. Quade joins the Aussie 7s team for the Olympics, and 'hey presto', after 4 matches at the 2016 Olympics, he becomes eligible for future Test duties. Problem solved!!

    Rugby Quotes of the Week

Two great quotes from yesterday's (03/11/15) The Australian newspaper that put things 'into perspective'! Wayne Smith: "But it wont be quite the same as before. They wont be starting from scratch when the Wallabies of 2016 come together. A start has been made under Cheika. A very impressive...

Allow me to correct that, mudskipper: "I'm looking forward to facing NZ with our line up including Carter". (Sam Carter, that is)!!

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

Too much, too soon, Mr Jarse!! Time for: (a) Reflection, and; (b) a couple of bets on "Trip to Paris", and "Who Shot Thebarman", in the Melbourne Cup, then we can look at the above!

I agree, you're never "offside' when you wear "black"!!

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

It's sad that a brilliant sporting team like the New Zealand All Blacks has to suffer such a large mob of wankers as their "cheer squad"!!

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

Miss Doug, (in Canada), told me today that the Wallabies lineout has suffered from the absence of Sam Carter! I know she's biased, but maybe she's right?!

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

teach, I'm not a huge Kurtley Beale fan, (as many regulars here would know), however, even with limited opportunities, in this campaign, IMO, he is the #1 Australian #15 at the moment. Folau is not delivering to his ability. Kurtley looks dangerous, every time he gets the ball. I believe in...
