2012 Rugby Championship Game 2 New Zealand vs Australia - 25 August

And if Pocock is injured I would go with Gill over Hooper. He gets stuck in more at the breakdown and is constantly plugging holes in our defensive line. I think he is the right sort of player to add some starch to the pack. And he's certainly not afraid to go toe to toe with McCaw as he...

2012 Rugby Championship Game 2 New Zealand vs Australia - 25 August

I think cooper has to come back into the team at 10 next week, and I would also be slotting taps in at 12. Barnes to ride the pine and inject himself late, either at 10, 12, or 15. If shmoo is good to go I'd start him but if not Fainga'a or Horne will play out centre I guess. Moore has to...

    You're a substandard troll mutton.

So, who here thinks Deans is the coach we need?

You could say the same about quade. Compared to his peers, he has improved out of sight since he was a flaky 16 year old at churchie. People forget how bad quade was during his early years that the reds. He's turned many reds fans from sceptics to believers.

    The Kings are in!

The tahs dont need to sign marquee players. There are more than enough good players in NSW. By signing marquee players they will just further alienate their fanbase,

    The Kings are in!

Force should have held out a bit longer and they might have picked up janties rather than the journeyman ebersohn.

2012 Rugby Championship Game 1 Australia vs New Zealand - 18 August

These selections are getting beyond a joke now. How long until the players lose faith in their coaches?

So, who here thinks Deans is the coach we need?

I think ultimately TPN is a better player, but I agree that on that night Fainga'a was most defiantly the man for the job. I irish were able to slow the game down at every stoppage. We needed to counteract this and play at a speed that they are not capable of. Instead we had TPN on one knee at...

So, who here thinks Deans is the coach we need?

The team selections and gameplan for the irish match were formulated by deans. He chose not to select a fetcher and instead opted for a journeyman no 8 to fill the open-side flanker position. He chose the rookie 12 McCabe whose running style was exploited all night and constantly left us on the...

    Salary cap shenanigans

The aru should be directing funds into growing rugby in the 3 smaller franchises to bring them upto speed with the larger ones rather than restricting the larger ones, which will almost insure no Australian team wins the super rugby.

So, who here thinks Deans is the coach we need?

We have also lost a fuckload of games under deans that we should have won. Off the top of my head: 2 Bled cup games, the first test south africa in 2010, at least 1 game against the poms in 2010, 2 losses to scotland, loss to samoa, loss against the irish at the world cup. You just can't...

So, who here thinks Deans is the coach we need?

I think he is totally unsuited to coaching australia. We just go about things differently to the kiwis and since he has taken charge all the innovation and guts that were the hallmarks of australian rugby have disappeared. I don't think we had the cattle to win the world cup last year, but I...

    I'm pretty sure I don't like this

These things are going to be all over the footpath on caxton street after the bled as people dump them before they head out.

    Reds 2013

Our pack would look a lot more 'solid' with his inclusion. Plus he is probably has a better chance of making the lions tour squad whilst playing for a team like reds.

I think it is both. You can't win this comp without a top halves combination.

The force need to be spending money on backs.

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

Barnes is just as much of a weak link as cooper. Get in his face and disrupt his outside runners and he sinks back into the pocket and starts kicking. Wait for a bad kick and then attack all out on the counter and you start to see cracks in his kicking game.

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

I dont see the fuss over Palu. He does a lot of good things for the tahs, but he has never really stepped up at test level against the all blacks or the springboks. I think with higgers, dennis and mowen we might strike a better balance.

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

The reds can get forward parity because their forwards are fit, and the halves combo are able to keep the forward momentum ticking over which keeps the pack motivated. They have a structure where the forward play complements the back play and vice versa. The wallabies can't seem to click in...
