    U16/U19 Competition 2023

And Tautua who I think was nearly MOTM. Not sure Alatini could be left out too, even if he only played 20 mins or so. His impact on the game was enormous.

    Alatini?

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

That's funny in an odd way. At the game the Tahs U16s looked like even younger schoolboys, while the Reds had some big blokes who looked more like men.

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

I am a fan of Jack Barrett and he is as good or better than any of the other LHPs involved in the World U20s tournament this year, but he had his hands full against the starting Brumbies no 3 and was absolutely monstered by Alatini, the Brumbies reserve No 3. The Brumbies scrum was dominant all...

    Reds v Saitama, Ballymore, Saturday 4th November @ 3:05pm

Both 10s, ie HMP and the Wild Knights player, had top games. HMP motm for me. Flook was excellent and de Luciis looked very comfortable at this level. Also thought Werchon was a step up at No 9 but lucky to be awarded his try.

Sounds like the second coming of Eddie Jones. If we think things are bad now, we'll........

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

Staniforth and Wilcox have been outstanding at the back for the U19s, but it would be a mistake for the Tahs to just concentrate on them. There's plenty of talent across the rest of the backline.

Swain and Swinton were a locking duo for the U20s behind (but better than) Hocking and Blyth, in 2016/7(?).

Whatever it is Barbs, you'll get any number of posters on here tell you how boring it is and how it is the end of rugby as we know it.

Not at all. At least, not until we know exactly what is meant by Centralisation.

"I'd be happy to decide that Brumbies style is the way to go for Aus rugby, but it requires a substantial change in how and which players get paid and retained." And that won't be an easy task, will it?

Hypothetically, one of McKellar or Larkham get the top job and when the tests roll around he implements the Brumbies' play book and picks some of those who were mystifyingly left out by Jones. He says to the other Au sides that this is how they all have to play in order to align their approach...

Wilson, maybe he's out to prove that our players are capable of, and need to be, playing more games to reach the pinnacle in world rugby?

Yeah, but Saturday or Sunday? Or doesn't that matter for the unfortunates who live in God's country?

    Reds v Saitama, Ballymore, Saturday 4th November @ 3:05pm

The game is currently scheduled as live on STAN at 4pm on Sunday, following the U16s and U19s finals. Anyone know the true date and time? Will be an interested onlooker in relation to De Lutiis. One that got away from the Brumbies, although he was going home. In my opinion, was the key player...

RWC Final - New Zealand v South Africa 29/10/23, 0800 NZDT

My thinking is that, by the end of a hard fought match and that being the final of a RWC to boot with all the pressure of winning or losing the game, that kick was probably more in the 25% probability of success level. However, I can also imagine the uproar among NZ fans had they gone for the...

RWC Final - New Zealand v South Africa 29/10/23, 0800 NZDT

Jordie taking the high risk, low reward attempted penalty goal two minutes from the end was a mistake imo. Better to have put the ball over the sideline with a 5 - 10m lineout and go again. The AB's maul was almost legally unstoppable at that time and most likely would have earned a penalty...

What has Simon Cron actually done in the way of coaching that would se him in consideration at this time for the Wallabies job? Certainly didn't show any thing special with the Force last year. And splitting hairs, but is he Australian. I seem to recall he came over from NZ - not that that...

Bit premature with that comment iro McKellar UTR? How many games has he been involved in at Leicester (that's where he is, isn't it?)?
