    Wallabies 2023

JOC (James O'Connor) has a tendency to throw the ball too late and hence forward. In every game he is trying to play close to the line, which is good but often he plays beyond the line. Maybe he will be better for the run? Donaldson is worth a look over time. Not sure what the answer is for now at 10.

    Wallabies 2023

I do not see the value in Rory Arnold at the moment. He was not putting his body on the line as our other locks have been. I’d guess its the same for Skelton. We have good local talent in the second row and these guys should only be considered due to injury. By all means include them in the...

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

I actually thought McReight was pretty good. Involved in everything and gave it 100%, as usual. Tight 5 got rolled.

I reckon Lolesio with Hodge the back up. We get Paisami and Kellaway back. We get our first and second pick hookers back which will strengthen our set piece. The lineout was our launch pad last week and this week it went to crap with the inclusion of Lonergan and Arnold. Scrum was woeful. Philip...

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

It was a game that was always going to be tough to win with so much disruption and players not available. The scoreline is a bit embarrassing but the result not unexpected. The other player who was class with every involvement was Ikitau. He’s very good but had little support around him. Arnold...

I think it was before they scored, when there were a couple of other transgressions. He may just have been the unlucky one to get singled out? I thought he was good, along with Valetini who was excellent.

If we score that try and go ahead 17-14 in the first half maybe the game plays out differently? We just had too much inexperience in several areas and missed a few players that normally hold it together. The bench did not bring much outside of Tate and the yellow for McReight was not justified...

I disagree. Missed a few key tackles and our scrum really struggled compared to last week. He is not yet test standard. I thought Pollard looked better. Tupou was once again way off the pace. AAA should start when fit. Wright is not a fullback and both he and Petaia still need to work on ball...

I dunno. We are below strength and could be exposed in a number of areas. It will be interesting.

    No. Just an after thought

    Or not……..apparently

You couldn’t blame him. He played last year against the ABs and went pretty well. Scored a good meaty and was part of a very good scrum. Rennie doesn’t want him. He has to be ahead of both hookers in the 23 tomorrow.

I’m guessing that FF (Folau Fainga'a) will be good to go against SA along with Porecki and a bunch of other first choice. I read 8 I think?

We still are in with a decent chance but a couple of injuries early could cruel our chances

We have around 20 players unavailable. I cannot remember a similar situation in my time, which goes back a fair way. May be the protocols but it just seems to be the Wallabies and no one else?

    Something not right. Its madness

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

He would hold up the scrum much better than the two young Brumbies. Its going to be interesting. A lot of injuries in training, head knocks in particular. Some thing not right

We are going to miss Quade……again. Hopefully he is back playing as quickly as possible. The majority of commentary from people in the know suggest he played well on the weekend and was able to get our backline into gear. I agree. Hope JOC (James O'Connor) can stand up on the weekend and do similar.

I think Rennie is looking for a way to release his backs out wider. If there is a game to give JOC (James O'Connor) a run, this is it. If he does not perform I imagine that he will revert to Lolesio. Not the worst option but definitely a limiting factor on our points scoring potential.
