    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

Mostly agree, but his finishing this year has been absolutely woeful - which is obviously very, very important as a winger

    Pic needs a caption

"As you're approaching the stadium, head straight for 200 metres and then take the Third Reich"

    Wallabies 2024

In his presser yesterday Fraser did say "pending selection" when asked by a reporter about how he intends to play. It was obviously a throwaway remark, but I do like reading too much into things...

    Wallabies 2024

Would be a bit bizarre if 7As (Allan Ala'alatoa) isn't captain with him at the forefront in all the media imagery though wouldn't it? Maybe Wright for VC?

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

    Loud and clear

    Ballymore Redevelopment

Not to forget the best part of a decade to actually get it and supporting infrastructure planned and built

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

I'll be out in the Warwick / Stanthorpe region for the game - any recommendations on where to watch?

    Ballymore Redevelopment

Disagree about this pretty strongly - closing that section of Caxton has viable detours and alternative routes to the connecting roads; the only real immediate detours around that section of Abbotsleigh Rd are through residential areas or onto Breakfast Creek Rd, which likely wouldn't cope very...

    Queensland Reds 2025

Great news! They're limited and I've heard pretty popular, so it's good you were still able to take advantage

    Ballymore Redevelopment

A pedestrian bridge (or two) a la Suncorp to Milton station is the obvious answer - anything's possible really, it's just a question of cash

    Ballymore Redevelopment

Especially no need for a second one just down the road. The money would be better spent on a stadium (and supporting infrastructure) in a growth area such as between Logan and Coomera or out towards Ipswich, imo

    Ballymore Redevelopment

To me this sounds more like a response by FA to the recent Ballymore funding chat in the media than a genuine chance. The following probably says all you need to know about the article:

    Michael Hooper: "What a ride!"

My favourite part is either a) Hoops was lurking in the comments and made a BBC account to post a thank you message himself; or b) someone gets a kick out of impersonating him. Either way, it's hilarious.

    Wallabies 2024

Very pleased to see the Wallabies' socials team are once again putting out well-produced behind the scenes content - one of the few positives to come of the World Cup campaign.

    Queensland Reds 2025

Off topic, but figured this was the best place to post this given it receives more traffic than the QPR thread. Up to $200 vouchers for kids aged 5-17 to play sport - may as well feed as much into the local clubs as we can. https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/fairplay

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

    It was Canham and Daugunu

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Uelese to Montpellier (not yet officially announced, but Roar reported it as a done deal), but I don't think there's anything solid for Mafi yet?

    Australian Rugby / RA

Man, it's very unfortunate he never got a proper sendoff. Absolute (and under appreciated at times) servant of the game.

    Wallabies 2024

It's entirely possible Walton was just called in as a squaddie as he's Sydney-based

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Fair point, I had forgotten a couple of them were leaving. My point is it's baseless to suggest the Reds and Tahs have been favoured when, as you say, there's only been a handful of movements announced. I'd be surprised if the Brums weren't a sought-after destination for ex-Rebels, being the...
