    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

    Pretty harsh on the Rebels.

If Donaldson is there to kick penalties and we aren’t taking them get him off!

The World Cup must be slightly blipping the radar down here. https://www.theage.com.au/national/victoria/allez-allez-how-france-fell-in-love-with-aussie-rules-20230915-p5e52e.html So needy.

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

I get the impression that if we went on Welsh or Fijian rugby forums they are probably posting the same thing word for word.

I guess at least we don’t have to stay up and watch the Force tomorrow night now. Got to look at the positives.

    Rebels 2023

Big afternoon for us today. We really need the Brums to beat the Chiefs and the Tahs to lose to the Crusaders or I see a third string Chiefs team flying to Perth next weekend and the Force hopping over us on the table. A Drua loss also helps. I thought we would be completely gone by this point...

We did re-appoint the coaching team for continuity.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

That’s not the problem - it’s the plan. Clog the airwaves from the end of the Australian Open until Melbourne Cup. Content is king and they generate more than anyone else.

Reports at the time cited mental health reasons for leaving Benneton. Probably just needed some time back near family to get himself right. Wouldn't be the first person to take unders for better work/life balance.

R12: Waratahs vs Rebels - Saturday 13 May

I don't think it is clear at all. Maybe a slight edge, but not much more. You then need to consider the quality of service to them as well. This one is the Rebels to lose.

For rusted on fans - doesn’t help bring the next generation through. We need more of a mix.

    Rebels 2023

Walking in to the ground the Vixens were playing across the road, and Collingwood were playing Sydney at the G. It was raining, freezing, and we are at the back end of a losing season - again. We are playing more entertaining rugby, but if you aren’t winning, you’re not getting much visibility...

I thought this was a safe space for those of us who live in Melbourne and wanted to get away from the AFL chat.

There will be 3 or 4 pissed off contenders for the AFL CEO job as of this morning. Tom Harley from the Swans could be a left-field option, but Kylie Rogers or Travis Auld are probably more conventional candidates. Hard to see how they would top Phil Waugh and his decade long banking career though.
