godwin is no chance to be in the team. could sneak onto the EOYT though as a 12.though strong competition from taps, mccabbe, horne and lilo.

to be honest, the way he is playing, i am expecting higgers to be 8 with mowen at 6 and palu on the bench. i think barnes is a massive chance to be either the 10, 12 or 15. but if he stays healthy, i think he will start. his aimless kicking is annoying when he does it, but when he doesn't, i...

    Rebels 2013

yes he has been particularly susceptible to it lately. i think mitchell suffers from lack of game time. he is typically a better player the longer he plays, but without game time his form drops off pretty quick. it will be heggarty, roberts (god please no) or beale. i dont think woodward...

Waratahs vs Brumbies RD 14 Saturday 18th May

and the winners will be......... - folau

    Rebels 2013

i like that call. he is a bigger body as well (than mitchell) and looks like he can tackle well. nice footwork as well.

    Rebels 2013

i don't think beale will be suspended for this week. i think they will bring him back in. strzacker (can't understand how he wouldn't get selected, but i'm sure he wont) Beale Vuna Sidey/Mitchell inman English Woodward i think they will opt for beale at 10 given his experience we will need a...

Waratahs v Stormers, rd 13 Super Rugby 2013

I think Barnes very nearly resorted to his old self with those aimless kicks but he quickly pulled his head in and I thought he looked really good. I expect him to get more game time next week. Agree re Horne and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper). Both are playing very well. Ur forwards, robbo and tpn aside, go in way to...

    Blues v Rebels R13 Saturday 5:30pm EST

Heggarty had two kicks that didn't go to touch and two passes that went behind, one to Inman off which he scored and the other to saffy who had tonnes of time.

    Blues v Rebels R13 Saturday 5:30pm EST

oh so very happy about that. strzacker really does have a great pass. and he hardly ever kicks. box kick is such an opportunistic thing for my mind. piri weepu employed it quite well when he was one. phipps does it as if to gain territory/relieve pressure. pass it to your 10 or 15 and they have...

    Blues v Rebels R13 Saturday 5:30pm EST

dumbledore & swingpass. agree our forwards were excellent. lineout was a weapon t hroughout the game and towards the latter part of the second half, our scrum became an absolute force. also agree re haggerty. he looked and played like a proper 10 and i was impressed with his kicking and passing...

    Blues v Rebels R13 Saturday 5:30pm EST

phipps is terrible. his double pump is so slow. mitchell's defense was pretty poor. vuna was verrrrry slow at the start, his defense improved (or maybe he just didn't get tested in the second half) can't see why some think inman was poor...thought his personal defense was excellent and his power...

    Chiefs V Force - Round 13

with morahan and holmes, you guys are going to be quite good next year. just need a quality lock really. godwin is money, the badger is fcukin awesome.

    Kurtley in Trouble Again

turning into a real pear shaped loser. suspect he is suspended for at least this week and next and his lions chances are probably done eyes turn to mogg and folau now and i suspect Mogg will get the jersey.

not hard to not have a beer idiot woodward back in!
  15. Sir Arthur Higgins

    Blues v Rebels R13 Saturday 5:30pm EST

english to start on the wing and woodward on the bench apparently which means sidey remains i would be playing Beale and JOC (James O'Connor) at 10 and 12 and woodward at fullback. he has been pretty deadly (a couple bad kicks aside)

    Rebels 2013

but we hardly have any foreign frecuits anymore, Woodward and Fuglistaler can qualify for Australia (not 100% on fug). who do we have in the backs? just horie and ged once delve leaves.

    Rebels 2013

further, he is our starting hooker by a long long shot. doubtful the rebels management don't want him to stay.

    Rebels 2013

not sure why everyone is suggesting Ged is gone on the back of the hawkes bay signing. that could, and probably is a deal to play for them when super rugby finishes. if he wanted an NZ super rugby contract why would he go to ITM when he's already playing super rugby? that makes no sense.

and burgess' physicality would be an excellent counter to phillips almost flanker style of play.

    Wallabies Watch

i was sitting on the sideline near the 22 for last weeks rebels game and got a lot of excellent straight on views of phipps' pass......it's not nearly flat or accurate enough. strzacker has a much better pass at the rebels. if burgess can get a couple game pre lions tests, he is a real chance.
