    Qld Premier Rugby 2023

Elton has worked with Mic for 4-5 seasons, the progression of him to HC couldn’t really have been handled any better. Systems are in place , similar group or “brains trust”running the club. He and Mic have almost been job sharing the last couple of seasons, so hopefully life post Heeno...

Both Marist old boys with GPS ties not too surprising. Happy he followed his brother when he did ,

    Reds 2023

Yeah agree Reg , Grealy has played a little 13 for UQ but not any 12 that I'm aware of. He is not really your "second playmaker" type fullback that can often slot into 10/12, more of a ball runner/finisher. Will be interesting to see how he handles the position. Good to see Anderson get a crack...

Wilson , think the open spots might come down to who can go. Would imagine that not all would be in a position to go if asked. Wallis has been contracted so likely to be available. Agree would have Anderson there, but not sure what he does for a day job. Tom Milosevic and Alex Smit were the...

Jeans at 9 and Creighton at 10 looked very good for the Reds’ Development team. Loved the efforts of Dobbins, would love to see him rewarded with a Super contract .

Kai Oats is an impressive rugby player, no fuss and rarely loses in contact.

Not a great day for the Reds’ pathways , the President’s XV get up and it’s naval gazing…….

Yeah you are right , discipline is part of all the points on your list , particularly the top 3. It just seems to be so obviously missing at times in Australian teams that thought it should get its own line on the list. Or we could just make it a non negotiable to selection. Don’t get the...

Please add “discipline” to the list. Too frequently we relieve pressure and momentum by giving away careless penalties.

More meant for him personally. He was visibly upset after the miss in the semi, will gain a lot of confidence from nailing the winning conversation.

Pone playing well, very busy in general play.

Didn’t look very connected , Campbell missed the tackle , but was left hanging by the movements of those inside him.

We saw more Reds players running around in QPR this season than we have for a long time. The Covid bubbles of 2020/21 for the Super Rugby teams severely limited club appearances for squad members. Think the issues this year with regards to the likes of Aubrey were the disparity in the Super Rugby / QPR...

Is Wallis back with the Reds ? Had a contract 2020/21, then Rebels 2022.

True , no doubt the Academy and U20’s would work in his favour, but still wouldn’t have him ahead of Dillon or Christian with regards to form QPR halfbacks. Brothers had Christian ahead of him all year.

Yeah agree, Ripley could be the real deal at 13. Certainly has all the attributes to be.
