Going to be a long day if that first scrum is any indication

Wow, almost as many Saffas there as kiwis we get at a Suncorp Bled!

You aren't wrong, but it took me two years to convince my kids to go to another rugby match after the SA Sydney sellout flogging.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

That's pretty much what the new owner would be buying

It's not about being good. It's about being good enough and ready. Mo'unga started all games for the Crusaders at 10 from age 21 in 2016. We would have had him in the Wallabies at that point, but they had the luxury of plenty of other older 10s to carry the load Lynagh isn't some child...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

I always thought the concern wasn't that people wouldn't attend the test, but that they wouldn't attend the other games

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

Lynagh is 21. At just about this age Lolesio had 10 test caps and had already played the All Blacks 6 times. (I agree with most of your post, but historically most guys who end up playing a lot of tests at 10 are ready at age 21or soon after - although maybe not starting at 10, and that's where...

Marathon is on Sat arvo isn't it?

8th game Kailea has started in pro rugby by my count. Has to take on the World Champs. Good luck young man

We could expect knowledgeable posters like yourself to provide alternative options from other teams to counter the Waratah hype?

    Refereeing decisions

Blow their minds by telling them that AFL doesn't have a system for in-game send-off at all

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

The collateral damage is having to play these guys (cause we have to select someone) even though they aren't ready. I think he might be a substantially better player if he hadn't been picked and dropped 8 times through his test career before the age of 24, and he had an experienced 10 along...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

It's not very inspiring at the moment is it. I agree the career of these two might be collateral damage on the road to finding a long term player. Having said that if you were to write a manual on how to best stuff up a promising young 10s career, wouldn't you pretty much show them how Lolesio...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

It will be 10 weeks since Tizzano last played a pro game. He can't have had many training sessions with the team. Big ask for a 7 in his debut, and only against the World Champs. I wonder if the plan is for him to play 80?

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

I would have thought Suncorp would sell out for NZ and SA (and England and Ireland - any team with a significant away team presence) no matter if it's played in the afternoon or evening. Same for Moore Park and MRS The bigger stadiums in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne might not quite get there.

    Northern Hemisphere Rugby

Not really sure where this fits..... Samoa have had to pull out of their Northern Hemisphere tour due to "significant financial challenges" and to "avoid embarrassment of being the first small union to go bankrupt"...

    Waratahs 2025

I reckon what's happened, hopefully changing lately, is the only people who will accept head coaching and admin roles, for the salaries that our teams can afford to pay, are locals and club stalwarts. We haven't been able to afford competancy or proven experience (although that often means the...

    Refereeing decisions

pick and goes don't seem to be affected? The players who were bound in the ruck can still tackle a player running from the base? Although I always wondered what impact this clarification had on that being legal (Clarification 3/2021) - it suggests not, but appears to be routinely ignored

Has this one been trialled anywhere yet? 60 secs is a fair change from the 90s currently permitted
