    Super TT final

The heavy rain forecast probably doesn't suit Perofeta's game either. Plummer with his bigger frame is probably more useful in that sense.

    Super TT final

No Robinson or Ofa for Blues but they do have Otere and Papali'i.

NZ July 2021 Tests (& other matches)

Zarn is only 20. Happy to take it slow. I'm guessing this puts Bryn Hall out of the running for the ABs. Who will be that 3rd halfback? Drummond or Christie I guess?

    Super TT final

Ticket sales building, over 21k now sold.

    Super TT final

So latest injury news - Ofa unlikely to play (hand and knee injuries) - Dalton Papali'i good to go - Tom Robinson 50/50 to play (concussion) - Otere Black limped out of training but should be good to play for Landers - Jona Nareki doubtful (shoulder) - Pari Pari Parkinson doubtful (shoulder)

    Super TT final

Given the expected conditions that looks like a decent prediction ^

    Super TT final

Am I dead to you? Canes the only NZ team to not make a 2021 Super final.

TT Rd 5: Blues vs Force

Good guys hosting the final. Bad guys don't make the final. Happy days.

TT Rd 5: Blues vs Force

Pleased to see Blues not mucking around too much with selection. Good 23 (except for Ruru). I think this is Ray Niuia's second appearance in the second year of his Blues deal.

TT Rd 5: Blues vs Force

Yep that's what Paul Cully is reporting. Ofa T is being rested too (knee).

    Super Rugby T-T R4: Chiefs v Rebels

He's 20 years old and been thrown straight into SRTT at 10. He's going bloody well. Of course there's areas to work on. Enjoyable game - scrappy at times but competitive.

Super Rugby R4 Reds v Blues

Doran reporting Hegarty to 10 Flook to bench.

    New Zealand Rugby Team Watch

Akira should be in the squad either way. He was the starting 6 at the end of last season and showed more in 2 tests than Frizell has in all his tests. His SRA form was patchy but it doesn't make any sense to drop him based on that. His SRTT form has been stronger.

Super Rugby R4 Reds v Blues

Fraser it could be a lack of dominant tackles? It's one thing to make tackles, it's another to make effective/dominant tackles.

Super Rugby T-T R4 Clan Vs Waratahs

Hammington is a serious step down from Smith (obviously) and the now injured Fakatava. So much of the Highlanders game ran through them. Good news for the Tahs.

Super Rugby R4 Reds v Blues

I have theory on McReight for this game especially. I wonder if the thinking with resting/rotating McReight in this game especially is wanting more physicality - to me in the SRTT it looks like he could use some more bulking up. The Blues probably provide the biggest physical challenge of...

Super Rugby R4 Reds v Blues

    Blues named.
  18. KiwiM

Super Rugby R4 Reds v Blues

Agreed - although Blues backline is better balanced now than what they rolled out in SRA with no Ruru at 9, Faiane at 12 and Zarn at 15.
  19. KiwiM

Super Rugby R4 Reds v Blues

Blues biggest weakness at 9 is actually Ruru. Christie and Nock are fine.
  20. KiwiM

Super Rugby R4 Reds v Blues

This could be the best game of the round robin. Reds have some physicality to combat the Blues. Reds can move the ball around which causes Blues defense problems (see Tahs game).
