Bledisloe #1 New Zealand vs Australia, August 7 2021

Huh? Kickers get booed all over the place. Including Suncorp.

Last year I would have agreed with you. This year Reece and Rieko look back to their best. I actually would call Havili flashy based on his 2021 play at 12 - flick passes, cut out balls, chips and grubbers. If I would was Wallabies I would be looking to throw up a lot of contestable bombs...

I remember a lot of this sort of chat by people before Brisbane Bledisloe last year with Hodge at 10 for Wallabies......

Confirmed by Fozzie. He could play if needed but they want to give him a full training week etc and not rush it.

Attacking flair is great, and pleased to see it after some average selections last year. But ABs will need more than that. ABs had plenty of attacking flair from 98 - 02. Didn't do them much good.

Agreed. I'd actually prefer Jacobson at 8 and Ardie at 7 purely because Jacobson is the better 8 and Ardie must start. Ardie needs to be starting given the lack of experience in other test loosies. On form though Papali'i has certainly earned his start - it's a nice quartet of loosies. The...

Of course the Wallabies can win. I'd think Test 2 would be a better chance simply with the familiarity of playing at the same ground 2 weeks in a row and presumably a smaller crowd (with the test being moved at the last minute) but who knows. I think both teams are in a much better spot...

He's already been given diversion hasn't he? That was all done earlier this week (i.e. no conviction). I'd drop him based on form alone. Two birds one stone.

    Olympic 7's

You mean like Hayne who tried to crack the Fiji side and was rubbish?

Jeez some of these ABs live a charmed life. Get picked in ABs out of nowhere originally. Do nothing for a dozen or so tests. Continue to get picked. Then after assaulting someone get stood down for 1 game that he wasn't even going to play in anyway.

    NZ Domestic Rugby 2021

RTS (Roger Tuivasa-Sheck) cutting his Warriors time short. Will go basically straight into Auckland NPC squad. https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/league/warriors/125867842/roger-tuivasasheck-has-played-final-game-for-warriors-returning-to-new-zealand

NZ July 2021 Tests (& other matches)

A young Read used to play wide. Instead of the 8 doing it they are having the 6 do it which suits both Akira's and Jacobson's games.

Wallabies v France, Brisbane, Sat 17th July, 8pm

The Naisarani one where France were running it out of the 22?

What a win what a series. Congrats. Talk about earning it. Not sure i've ever seen Hooper play a better test. He was enormous. That must do a huge amount for the growth/development of a young side.

Yep Akira was very good. As was Jacobson. Considering Ardie hadn't played in yonks he went well. It was nice to have dangerous wings all around this week. I really like the Mounga-Havili combo. Please stick with it. Much better AB performance.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

So much of the post game commentary was about the breakdown.

NZ July 2021 Tests (& other matches)

Given how poorly Bridge is playing I don't see how selecting someone else can 'blow up in our faces'. He's doing bugger all. You could have put Sio Tomkinson on the AB wing the last fortnight and got the same production.

I trust Reece and Jordan more than I trust Bridge.
