Great win to wicks through all grades. Excellant defence and superior fitness won the day. For Captain in 1sts, think Hoggetts would be good. Steady and clear thinker, talks well with refs and plays consitently well and has the best lineout throw.. Baldwin needs coaching help at the breakdown...

Charlie Hughes in good company. Listed side would be 2nd in most clubs and quite a few of them would be 1st in some.

A warm day out at Granville with so many games of rugby , it was impossible to watch them all. Congratulations to both clubs for running 5 grades in the mens division and still having spares enough to almost run a sixth. Not sure the score in fifths but Wicks won, as they did in fourths(39-29)...

Trains on to it. What about Jones at 8? Hits up well and is atheletic and a lineout jumper

A very good turnout at the Wicks for Ladies and little persons day. Wick fifths played Colleagues fourths and complacency saw them 15 nil down before they decided to play . Wicks 24-22 Fourths were horrible . Wicks had a very good team on paper and that was where it stayed. They were out...

Harris will get a go at sometime as I heard Dan is going overseas before the end of the season.. He will make a very good 8 one day but will have to play second row due to his size. Connor Davies had a very good game in two last week and he has a long boot. Hanigan will be a very good lock in a...

Based on last year Hanigan to reserve, Munroe to lock , Figg to blindside, connor stays open. Baldwin giving too many penalties at the moment. Guess only

A cold day at Latham with two games on the top paddock and second grade on the bottom followed by a short drive for first grade at coogee. - Note to Council- 1.Coogee did not look that bad. 2. Either allow at least two grades or none. 3. Trust Mungos will only be allowed one game on sunday...

I, for one will be lodging a complaint with the council. If we can get some numbers doing the same we may get a change of attitude in the future. It impacts heavily on Wicks bottom line. Imagine - Arguably The best known rugby club is at the whim of a council attitude.

Macca I agree Wicks had the better of the rugby but a 'pushover try' against them belies the 'everywhere'. Credit every where else especially in defence. The same could be said of two's except everytime they ( 2's) got within 10 metres of the opposition line they lost the ball.

Fourth grade lost to eastwood in a somewhat scrappy affair. Eastwood , as they did all day, had numbers out wide as well the better of the breakdown. Wicks third grade which is has some quality players coming back from injury managed to reverse the tables and stole most of eastwoods lineouts...

    Penrith Emus

The progress Penrith had up the grades yesterday was expedential. The first grade had a very powerful look and imo was just short of the 'finishing touches' . The second grade were very tough and kept up the harrasment of their opposition to the end. The scorelines did not reflect the positive...

Another great day for the coogee faithful with all five grades getting up. Fifths won against Sydney Irish Fourths won 85 to 14 against. Penrith Max kite and max helliwell had good games in a team that enjoyed the running. Third grade put on over a hundred in a very good display. Credit to...

Oli will go ok. He has a good boot ,a reasonable pass and OK hands. Given the opportunity and good support, he will grow.

Coach , I agree, but the players have to take some responsibility for what they do on the field. The calls seemed to lack experience or thought - long throws at the lineout ( in gale force winds) long passes (in woeful conditions) . On the one hand- admirable attitude of the young but also very...
