I'm going to claim that, as it's 2015 but still pre-season, we're at the point of the year where 'this season' and 'the next season' are the same season...and skulk away quietly... :P

I would think Higginbotham will remain captain for 2015, with two of Weeks, Jones and McMahon deputies. Higgers has great leadership qualities, even if he doesn't always show them in the heat of action, so he will be able to impart a lot over the year. The Rebels desperately need a franchise...

I'm taking a sabbatical this year. Going to go deep into the Amazon and really discover myself and what it really means to be a rugby blogger. But in all honesty, I'm juggling a fair bit of Rebs and non-Rebs stuff and just couldn't commit to doing a good enough job.

It's great fun, a proper community game. It's like everyone knows everyone there. Highly recommend getting down there for a game. Worth every cent.

Thought the backs were good tonight, great to see Veainu, Jack and English rip it up. Forwards took a bit to warm up, don't think they were expecting such a contest from the Spirit. Once they started rolling, though, they dominated. PAE and McMahon were great. Spirit were real solid...

Yeah, I'm still nervous. We've seen one Rising player signed for the Rebels this week, means the development is going well...and the more they become like Rebels, the sooner they'll start dropping winnable games :P

If we put all of the glittery stuff on the heptagon, which we place on the Captain America shield where all of the winners go, that'd look marvellous.

What about having the shield as a heptagon (seven sided)?
