I love this idea. If it gets too troublesome for the ref to track, have the soccer concept of additional time marked by the fourth referee or TMO. I reckon the Reds v Rebels match would have been a cracker if the Rebels got the kick return, only to find out they had to survive five more...

Definitely does seem like a competition thing rather than playing a weaker side. Must be a McGahan tactic given McMahon's usurping of Reid, just on a much grander scale. We've won one Super Rugby game, we're in absolutely no position to be arrogant.

And if they do a job on the Force this week, expect that to rise even further.

Rebels should win, so it will be interesting to see if they do. Will be a forwards' game. If the Rebels can match their intensity from last week and improve their tackle height, they should get it done.

Reid has had a blinder of an off-season, he was fantastic in Geelong. Defending has improved markedly. Would still think Fugli is #1 but Reid and Colby will be nipping at his heels.

The Rebel Army have done Canberra, Brisbane, and Sydney in recent years. Always good fun travelling as the home crowd never seem to expect it.
