The Debreczeni -> Kamana -> Veianu try in the 2nd half was outstanding. Perfectly weighted grubber, quick hands and then finished with raw pace and a blinding step.

Debreczeni, McMahon, Neville, Alo-Emile, Inman, Veianu and Placid were very very good tonight. Hope Placid's knee isn't serious - he adds so much zap from fullback. Competition for Rebels backline places will be stiff next season.

Stirzaker was rather poor. Lots of slow passes and dropped balls (haha!).

Loved the 7 man pushover. Ah-Nau is a much better loosehead than Tighthead.

Hopefully the longer break will mean Placid is fine for next week.

Thought the backs were good tonight, great to see Veainu, Jack and English rip it up.

Forwards took a bit to warm up, don't think they were expecting such a contest from the Spirit. Once they started rolling, though, they dominated. PAE and McMahon were great.

Spirit were real solid considering the side they fielded. Really committed forward pack, and all-around good, desperate-for-possession footy.

God, it's fun outclassing teams though.
