    Where to for Super Rugby?

Once the Western Force licence is cancelled, doesn't that make the current "Force" players in the Wallabies squad ineligible to be in the national team, or is it only players returning from overseas that need to be contracted to an Australian Super Rugby franchise?

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Reading comments from a bloke like Geoff Stooke (OAM) confirms just how weak, incompetent, and pathetic the "under-achievers" like Pulver, Clyne and some of their fellow Board members are! We need to rid the ARU of the 'infection' that is contaminating our wonderful game! There are good people...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It's a bit like a company 'trading whilst insolvent'. It becomes a case of 'who knew what, and when'?!

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Yesterday was a very sad day for Australian Rugby. To paraphrase a former Australian Prime Minister: Well may we say God save the Western Force, because nothing will save the ARU Board!

C'mon Cyclo, I'm sure one of your CBA "no ID required ATM" accounts could handle the influx of cash!!

Cyclo, I would be happy to pay an annual subscription of (say) $80. If 50% of our members did likewise, that would gross $1,452,000 annually, ($80 x 18,300). Surely that would help run the site, and possibly fund Christmas drinks?!!

    The Wallabies Thread

Could someone please tell me how I get rid of the bloody annoying audio/video adds (for FAB detergent) that keep rotating on this thread?!!

    The Wallabies Thread

I know where you're coming from, Dru, however, now more than ever, the players need our support. 'Dubious' coaching practices, coupled with a governing body which destroys public confidence in our game, by its inability to show leadership, affects the players as much as it does those of us who...

    The Wallabies Thread

No way, BR, would never support another team against the Wallabies, just as I've never supported the Brumbies to beat the Reds, even with Sam as captain. We always want Sam to play well, but our loyalty is "non-transferable"!

Obviously I'm disappointed for Sam Carter. Who knows, maybe Alan Jones will pick him to captain The Barbarians against the Wallabies in Sydney in October!!!

    Where to for Super Rugby?

A lot has been said during "The Great Australian Super Rugby Elimination Debate" about New South Wales and Queensland being "the traditional Rugby States", and therefore should be exempt from 'extermination'. I really wonder how much of a "Rugby State" Queensland is in 2017? After 11/12 State...

    NRC onwards and upwards

Got my email from QRU this morning re the Qld teams draws. Have already written Queensland Country dates and venues in my diary, and I look forward to seeing some competitive (Australian) Rugby in 2017!

    Rebels V Jaguares - AAMI Park - 14th July

From the point of view of a 69 year-old Rugby fan, (NSW Country-born person) living in Queensland: I think the Rebels should go, (although I'm happy for them to be amalgamated with The ACT Brumbies). They really have added nothing to our code. I think the Western Force should stay, and continue...

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

Heard a different argument (before the last test match) on the radio last weekend. Mark McBain (Wallaby #637) reckons that the New Zealand Super Rugby teams have faced such weak competition from the Australian and South African teams, that they have slipped backwards and the B&IL were their first decent...

    Reds v Brumbies Rnd 16 2017

By way of support, emuarse, here on the Gold Coast, we have the heater on, the bottle of red wine has been consumed, (there are others), and the radio is on (ABC Grandstand). I'm a Reds supporter, but I sent a txt msg last night, to Sam Carter wishing him luck! May the best team win!! Cheers.

I must let Jarryd Hayne know that he can start talks with Cheika!!!

    Australia v Italy, Suncorp Stadium, 24th June 2017 @ 3:00pm

In a recent post, I suggested that our players might be "unfit". A couple of days ago I was speaking to a knowledgeable Wallabies supporter who suggested that Chiekia was, (as Joe Blows says), flogging them during the week, thereby leaving them deficient on match-day. Does that mean that when...
