Love it: So CCC should expect a big, fat donut and anything above that will be a bonus. ;)

    NSW CCC Rugby 2012

No problem re: individual players but hard to deny a mum or dad supporting the team their son was playing in - sounds like he or she was right into it - great stuff. How did the scoring go, were CCC in front or chasing? Hopefully, a few might be named in the NSW School squad for the nationals.

CCC 17 drew with GPSII 17 in Life Member Shield Final U16s. What a great result for the CCC; well done boys. Anyone got a synopsis of the game.

Yeah, No:21 was listed in the program as Scott Hogan; still only got half a game against CAS then obviously had ok from coach to leave at half-time against Country. Not heading out for the finals, today. Can someone please post the scores and a summary of the games - thanks.

    NSW U/16 Rugby 2012

Ok, on past form by the selectors about a dozen GPS players, a few CAS, CHS & ISA and maybe a token CCC or country player; then put them to the sword against Queensland. Yeah, Gladiator still a great movie.:)

Wouldn't say GPS is over the line, ISA led for a long way and didn't have the best of luck or bounce of the ball go their way - could have went the other way, ISA were close.

    NSW U/16 Rugby 2012

He might be a leaguie but he has rugby written all over him, extremely talkative (probably the most talkative half. 5/8 all day) - tells his forwards what he wants and the backs when they are to get the ball. Couldn't believe that bombed try (the one hand flick back) against CAS, it changed the...

NSW Schools - Trial Games and Selections 2012

Most likely a typo by the original poster. We all make them. I would say so, wonder who "an observer" was talking about then.

Disappointed with CCC today, especially the 2nd half against Country. When you lead 26-5 at half-time, then allow your opposition to score 17 unanswered points only to score right on full-time to seal the game. I did notice that the half-back, I mentioned last week go off at half-time not to...

Well done young Jono; obviously you had: "many rivers to cross" (now, that could be a great song title:) ) given the current selection set up.

Newbie is spot on, I was being more flippant. Results from last year U16s championship shows CCC ran third, beating CAS & ISA on the way; this side has the same potential.

No mate, they crossed to the dark side many many years ago.:p CCC is an association, made up of MCS, MCC, Country Catholic Schools and other associated groups (made up of mainly diocesan schools) - the real tykes, we shall not mix with the heathens.;) Unfortunately, the majority of students...

Hey Mum, Can you confirm that the U16s first game on the weekend is at 11.10am against CAS? I reckon the blessed tyke lads will go ok. If the forwards can get their set pieces right and hold their own in the open, the backs will cut their unholy rivals to pieces:)

Don't know, would not say they were not going ok but they just seemed more structured and quicker when he was on (he talked to his forwards and backs more) although he either had the flu or asthma, he seemed to be struggling, coughing, at times, and the trainer had a puffer out a couple of...
