I actually thought Hooper looked good in parts. A bit of a rough diamond but for his first outing, not too bad. He has the physical attributes and skill to be a very good test player. Holloway has been in decent form of late and has a claim but T.Hooper could be special.

Faessler should get a run this week. If Jones wants a big body he will probably be watching FF (Folau Fainga'a) closely on Friday. McReight deserves a shot. Samu is not really a 7. Kemeny might be interesting. He has the speed.

I thought he was decent in the tight and both throws were borderline. Having said that I wouldn’t mind seeing Faessler getting a run. The Argies will present a different set of obstacles.

Hooker is a position that Jones knows a lot about and he is looking for something particular. Faessler may well be the one. He has the size, a good throw and is excellent around the paddock.

How old are you Tom? He has been around a while. Do you remember Phil Kearns? We will see.

You Brumbies folk have short memories. It will be what it will be. I’m shocked he was picked but obviously Jones sees something.

And being proven in the test arena. Let’s hope that EJ (Eddie Jones) can extract what we have all seen at times in him on a more consistent basis.

    Wallabies 2023

Well yes. He already has the size that the Brumbies hookers never will have.

    Wallabies 2023

His last test against the ABs when he came on they monstered the AB pack at scrum time and he scored a great try off a lineout with lots of work to do. He needs to be fit and have an attitude adjustment Eddie Jones style. Otherwise let him go.

As said, he was dynamite in his first few tests and played without fear. He really looked like a young TPN. He is the best scrummaging hooker in the country. Hopefully EJ (Eddie Jones) can get him playing like his 19yr old self. At the rebels he goes from ruck to ruck facilitating and stays down when tackled...

His time will come and most likely very soon after this RWC

If he wins it you couldn’t blame him for retiring. Maybe a Lions series win would be the cream on top?

He has had his time OS. Sometimes money is not the only factor. He will be great at the Force. Good test player on top of his game.

Kerevi on one leg is better than any other 12 option we have by some distance. If he is close to fit he will go.

Thats a little unfair. Hanigan may not carry as well as Wilson but he is getting there. The rest of his game is better. Lineout, scrum, defence etc and he plays 5/6 and not only 8. I would say that Wilson is in competition with Gleeson for a spot, not Hanigan.

It is really not about the provincial sides BR. It is more about getting the right balance.

    Wallabies 2023

He already has a cultured boot and his awareness and positional play comes more naturally than any 10 we have seen for a very long time. Carter Gordon is playing well but it has taken him a few seasons to get there. Lynagh needs to get stronger but otherwise he looks just about ready.

Quades defence has been excellent over the last 2 years. It is not what it was as a youngster. Foleys has been committed as well.

    Wallabies 2023

I reckon Tom Lynagh will have a big say post RWC. He’s a genuine 10 just like his old man. The most natural playmaker of all our young options.

    Wallabies 2023

He disappeared after his last test in NZ. If I recall he was part of a scrum that won a last ditch penalty to win the dead rubber after scoring from a lineout maul with a lot of work to do to get over the line in the same game. It was one of his best performances. Must have been put in the...
