Australia A v Japan XV matches

Uru is a great option to replace Leota. Good to have in the lineout, can carry well and just has a great rugby brain. He also can easily slot into the row when needed. He has to be very close.

Australia A - Back on the Cards

I’m surprised they could find 8 more Brums to represent in the As

    Wallabies 2023

The EOYT will be used to bed down some spots. The second row and 10/12 need to be solidified. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tom Staniforth get a call up. He has been tearing it up over there and is certainly worth a look at 5/6. Outside of him and Skelton I dont really see anyone else worth...

    Wallabies 2023

I’m sure if he was still part of the squad then he would want to play. He has been discarded and will try and play for Samoa. Who would blame him?

    Wallabies 2023

Uelese got canned after a really good performance against the ABs last year. He should have been third cab off the rank, or at least on the bench when either FF (Folau Fainga'a) or Porecki were not available. He came off the bench behind BPA last year. He may have some issues, but they all do. He is very strong...

    Wallabies 2023

Ouch…..That one is going to strike a cord in this place! It appears as though Rennie has favoured picking Brumbies, mostly justified I might say, but has tried to make them play a different brand of footy. The injury toll has been horrific this year and gives him a pass IMHO. We have been...

The halves have the ball in their hands much more than most so its not surprising that they are up there in the uh oh stakes. It is surprising to see TT up near the top of that stat.

I bow to your superior understanding but how do we go 40-0 down without getting belted up front? Scrum was also under pressure when Bell came on and he struggled to hold his feet. Lineout did look OK. I like Gordon and the bloke gives 100% but our play seems disjointed when he is at 9, or at...

I would also pick and stick with Hodge at 15 moving Kellaway onto Wrights wing.

I think you hit the nail on the head. For all the reasons you state I thought Foketi would also have issues fitting in, but he seemed to go pretty well and pop up at the end of movements all of the time. The Wallabies play is a blended hot mess of Brumbies and Waratahs with a little Reds thrown...

The forwards got rolled in the scrum, at the lineout and at the breakdown. Backs were not great either. Gordon stifles the attack. He doesn’t seem to have a decent feel of the game. He does one out stuff that is great but there is no flow to the game with him at nine like there is with White or...

That was really fucked. Glad we have a little break coming up to catch ourselves. What a difference a week makes.

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

That illustrates perfectly that Raynal took a personal shot at Foley based on what had happened earlier in the match. He had no control of the game and reacted poorly in both instances.

Also we might be able to give BB some heat with Petaia in the air

Defensively they may be more challenged with a change in the mid field. Hope there is opportunity for us to make breaks there.

Rodda is a no nonsense lock who is excellent at the set piece and a grafter, often topping tackle counts and getting stuck in at the coal face. He will add a lot when fit.

Being that V plays blindside at the Brums with Samu at 8 and there is someone else at 7 says a lot, particularly as The Wobs forward coach was also their coach at the Brums for some time and he preferred that arrangement. Hoping Wilson has a massive game and Bobby V does his usual. Edit - Adam...

Ouch. Philip out as well as Swain and no Leota. Getting thin on the ground. Neville and Holloway to start with Frost on the bench?

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

I wish. I reckon he is an excellent prospect and I will not hold it against him. Those comparing him with Richard Loe are drawing a very long bow. Loe was a proven thug many times over. Eye gouging etc along with the Carozza incident. Darcy is just young and impetuous.
