    Wallabies 2024

He was consistently playing 70+ in the '19, '20, '21 seasons (with many full 80 performances) - but, if rumours are to be believed, it absolutely ruined him and contributed to the breakdown in relationship with Reds staff (incl. Thorn). As you say, he'll probably never get back to anywhere near...

    Argentina v Australia, 8am Sunday 1 Sep (AEST) - TRC Round 3

Finally caught the game after a week overseas - stealing a win is a lovely feeling after several years where we probably would have lost that match.

I should've been more specific - by physicality I meant more the brutality, particularly of collisions. Obviously this is not to say there aren't big hits in Union, but speaking on averages

    Wallabies 2024

Doesn't this discussion - including among ex-players of both codes - always just come back to Union being more skilful and tactical, but League requiring greater fitness and physicality?

If we can score more points than Arg we can beat them

    Wallabies 2024

It feels like the exact same article has been run about 4 times now in the last 6 months - I'm not saying there isn't some form of interest from the NFL, but it's sounding more and more like his agent trying to boost his contract

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

Fully agree. I don't think there's a clearcut solution. It does make a case for solely utilising independent medical personnel, however that presents several other challenges and limitations in of itself. I do think there needs to be some stricter delineation between the roles...

To play devil's advocate, this could also be one of his biggest strengths moving forward - having to work hard and play smart rugby, as opposed to resting on the laurels of freakish natural talent.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I'm firmly team Fuck Hamish, but credit where credit's due on the man being able to swing a deal (except that issue with the French. We don't talk about that)

What in the self-flagellation is this article?

    Wallabies 2024

My understanding of the reporting is more aligned with the latter, but more than happy for someone to correct me. I’m sure a few weeks in France and Croatia didn’t help his cause, but I don’t blame him

What did you expect RA to do? They've very clearly been in contact with him and no doubt have outlined their potential plans and expectations for him - that's about as much oversight as they can have with someone not in the squad. And don't just say they should've put him in the squad - the...

    Wallabies 2024

The issue being Kerevi in '23 was arguably not test quality - if the concerns regarding his fitness are correct, there's nothing to suggest he'd leapfrog Stewart/Flook. In saying that, given the circumstances, bringing him into camp to get his fitness right and start building combinations might...

Is there an injury update on Paisami? He didn't look all too well coming off
  17. LeCheese

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

I doubt he'll get a full 40. Might also just be a bit of rotation due to Schmidt trying to land on his team. Or trying to bump up ticket sales amongst Force fans.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

Ah apologies - if the alternative was Lynagh as reported, Donaldson gives a touch more versatility should someone go down imo.

No reason other than I'd expected Faessler. Hope Pollard goes well.

Donaldson makes sense when the other two back finishers are Tate and Jorgo imo; Pollard a bit of a surprise.
