    Super Rugby 2022

I agree. I am happy to see the Pacific Islander sides but for the sake of a good competition, I would have rather seen 5 Australian teams and 7 Kiwi teams.

Agree. IMO, he could have made all 4 YC calls without a replay.

RC - Wallabies vs Springboks, Gold Coast Sunday 12 September 8:05 PM

I think that there is more chance that he will come out as gay than give the money back.

Had we lost by a point, would there have been as much praise for Luke Pearce?

RC - Wallabies vs Springboks, Gold Coast Sunday 12 September 8:05 PM

How would get it from the middle to the back to win the ball and not infringe the law? I agree with this but I also think that the referee interpretation on what constitutes a maul, that is no longer moving, has a significant impact. There were mauls last night that I would have said stopped...

Bledisloe III at Perth, 5/09/21 - 4pm AEST

I'm not totally convinced about the quality of some of these league players if they were playing at the elite rep level week in, week out. Many of these players are in the NSW league team who have lost to a weak Queensland league team 3 times in the last 6 games. Plus when they play for...

    Refereeing decisions

#2 if you can't tackle a man on the ground, then the balance has to be that a player can't crawl. He has to get to his feet.

The balance of probabilities is that there was some showmanship here. However you would find it very hard to disprove that there was not some impact to the player's head even if just from the impact of the whiplash from a tackle with high force.

    Refereeing decisions

Referees don't make it to the elite level without developing the skills to perform a very thorough assessment of their own performance. They are also subject to a performance review from the relevant referee managers ie SANZAR, World Rugby etc. Referees face intense scrutiny from referee...
