    Queensland Reds 2024

Working with a quality ex-scrumhalf as Head Coach (Criag McGrath) will be good for his development

    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

I'd still prefer Neville over Arnold. Pone and Faessler were excellent.

    Wallabies 2023

He also hasn't given any indication he wants to play for Australia

    Wallabies 2023

I have no doubt we will still see 2-3 players from outside this current squad called up for the RWC squad - and that's before injury. Samu, Neville, Wright & Hodge the most likely IMO

    Qld Premier Rugby 2023

Don't think it's quite like that. And Aus A selections will likely give them their chance to play semi finals and finals anyway.

NRC produced some wonderful talent. It didn't work commercially. How about a competition with the 6 Super Teams (incl. Drua) playing their B teams, and the winners of that year's Shute Shield & QPR joining as standalone teams? Two pools of 4, 6 matches (home and away), Semis and a Final? Any...

Fair call, I thought it was Rugby AU doing the influencer engagement

I just find this approach lazy for such a niche range of products that are likely only relevant/interesting to people already engaged in the game

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Playing in colts as a 19y/o is not necessarily a measure of a player's long-term viability as a professional. Tom Lynagh played Colts last year and impressed in Super Rugby this year.

Australia A - Back on the Cards

Fereti Sa'aga played Samoa U20s one year then Australia U20s the next

    Aussie Player Exodus

Would it be a good middle ground to allow any players who have held Australian eligibility at some point to play Super Rugby without taking a foreign capped place? EG the Japanese Australians (Cornelson, Riley etc)?

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

And some internationals from other countries who aren't eligible!

I don't think you can start it untul after Shute Shield, Hospital Cup finals conclude. Important for players to be able to rep their clubs in those comps.

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

Unless they are playing at least half of their home games in Samoa or Tonga, what's the point? Better off giving Mako a shot

    Western Force 2024

Yep, and combined with the generally med-high attrition rate across all Aus Super Rugby teams, this isn't remarkably high at all. Very interested to see who lands where..

Seriously great work Reg. Geez it makes the Force squad look short on quality too...

I've been impressed by him, said it here a week or two ago

    Rebels 2023

Heard he wasn't keen on the Crusaders HC role as he hadn't worn the jersey as a player. At least puts us in the convo ;)
