    Wallabies 2023

Had a crack at a breakdown of players with lots of Super Rugby caps, currently in Australia, not selected in any of the squads today, excluding long-term injuries. Likes of Anstee, Latu, Daugunu, Edmed, Muirhead, Lolesio, Debreczini, HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes), Kaitu'u, McInerney, Pollard, Ryan Smith, Blyth, Stewart...

Super Rugby 2023 Final - Chiefs v Crusaders

    Mark Zahra likes this.

    Northern Hemisphere Rugby

I find most Rugby highlights packages can be awful. 3 min or 4 min versions which show 90 seconds of penalty goal kicking, including replays, but don't show the initial transgression. Unless a very low scoring game we almost never see any attempts that come close to scoring and fall short...

Australia A - Back on the Cards

Hard to argue too much as well. I would have Faessler over Lonergan, not sure on backup scrumhalf. I would make the same move at fullback as you but have Petaia on the wing (not Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase)) and then Wright and Hodge on the bench.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Literally one injury and he plays. That's the secret to playing finals - depth. No need to loan him out!!!

    Wallabies 2023

Who says that there's only 6 backrowers? I see it as: 5 props 3 hookers 4 locks 7 backrowers 3 scrumhalves 2 flyhalves 4 midfielders 5 outside backs

    Wallabies 2023

White, 2 of Lonergan/Tate/Jake Quade, Bernard Ikitau, Samu, Foketi Marika, Wright, Kellaway, Petaia, Nawaqanitawase, Hodge Hard to see them going much outside of that. Gordon, Flook, Vunivalu, Paisami, Perese, JOC (James O'Connor), Pietsch only bolters I could envisage.

Super Rugby QF 2023 Brumbies vs Hurricanes:

Jack has been really good this year...

Enjoying it seems a little macabre

    Wallabies 2023

I see Gordon as a great cultural fit for those not in the matchday 23. Great 3rd choice scrumhalf.

    Wallabies 2023

Hard to find too much wrong with that. Petaia was on track for selection on the right wing before injury. Could argue Ryan Lonergan ahead of Jake Gordon.

    Waratahs 2024

All Aus Super Rugby teams, to be fair, except for in the nation's capital.

    Shute Shield 2023

Any standout players in Shute Shield, not already signed to the 'Tahs, demanding Super Rugby attention?

Rebels vs Force - Friday 26 May 2023

The challenge for the Rebels is always in compiling a squad with enough depth. 2024 could well be a challenge in that sense; you bring in Tupou, Lukhan, Lancaster yet you lose Philip, Hodge, Hosea, Hardwick & likely more. Bucking the trend for 12 months and getting that sort of quality injection...

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Midfield a worry - has been since Inman & Ellison - but otherwise a strong looking team for '24. I have a feeling that Jones will love Uelese, for his size alone. Not impossible he stays.
  18. RebelYell

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

I would presume he will still be eligible for the Olympics? I can actually see a pretty amazing list of Super Rugby players (incl. Pincus & Anderson) being in the mix now that Rugby AU doesn't maintain a FT squad of 20 for Men's Sevens.

Is Bell actually going to be fit for the RWC, do we know?
