Super rugby has just made NZ rugby stronger and increased their depth. Not sure that the extra 2 teams have helped Oz rugby. They were supposed to stop players heading o/s but that hasn't happened. Interesting to note that 70% of Wicks colts from 2016 have now moved up to grade and only 2 (Stoltz and Tarogi) are in 1st grade this week. I believe they reported a similar % last year. Not sure whether the same applies to other clubs, but this must (and is) pushing out the long term lower...
