    Wallabies 2024

Fine, then can we please stop saying "we just don't have the cattle" then? We cant simultaneously not have enough good players while also having too many good players to keep them all

    Wallabies 2024

The problem isn't that don't know about these guys, the problem is they don't know how to develop them correctly

    Wallabies 2024

Fair enough, but it certainly feels like these teams over there get far more out of Aussie players than we do over here. So it's either poor talent ID or poor coaching, but either way it's not a good look for Aussie Rugby when this consistently happens

    Wallabies 2024

And the week after that they beat the Stormers 48-7

    Wallabies 2024

Amazing that a hyperbolic comment get taken more seriously than a guy we thought was no good becoming a world class Centre while we are stuck recalling the ghost of Samu Kerevi

    Wallabies 2024

Yes, all the setups over there are more organized and professional than over here. There is no way clubs up there would let guys like Tupou eat their way through a season without any repercussions

    Wallabies 2024

Exactly. We have just spent the last month bemoaning the complete lack of big midfielders in the country, yet we let young guys like this walk away from Australian rugby

    Wallabies 2024

He certainly hasn't got worse. We could have used him considering the absolute dearth of decent sized midfielders here

    Wallabies 2024

They are just 2 more examples of players getting infinitely better once they leave Australia and join actual professional environments with expectation I keep hearing "we don't have the cattle", yet our cattle seem to be pretty valued around the world

    Wallabies 2024

Well hopefully he actually gets picked for the Australia A game

    Wallabies 2024

Does this random team called “Australia XV” count as that?

    Wallabies 2024

Odds are Jorgensen will cough too hard and be ruled out for the tour anyway so it may be a moot point

    Wallabies 2024

The thing is, all our players have work ons. All I’m saying is we are gonna regret not capping him

    Wallabies 2024

I guess this is what i disagree with. IMO Toole is a match winner, and it feels like such a waste to not cap him for the Wallabies. I can see a future where he goes overseas and dominates and we miss out on his talents

    Wallabies 2024

Fair enough, but you'd think if they were any chance for the Lions Schmidt would want as much time as possible with them. That was a big reason Suualli is with the Wallabies as Schmidt has said there wont really be any crossover

    Wallabies 2024

The Force just played an entire super season and he never started a game at 13 so I'd ask why the hell he's now ahead of Josh Flook then Toole isn't fighting against anyone because he's never been given a chance

    Wallabies 2024

Sorry, I know there has been a lot to be positive about recently
  18. Tomthumb

    Wallabies 2024

He was never put on the unavailable list. Even Harry Johnson-Homes made that list I hope he goes well, but I find it absurd that they refuse to give Toole even a chance after being our form winger in super rugby for the last 2 years
  19. Tomthumb

    Wallabies 2024

Which is why he didn't select him in any previous squads...

    Wallabies 2024

I get what you're saying, but the alternatives currently are a loose head prop not good enough to make the team, a tighthead prop not good enough to make the team, a number 8 that may not be good enough to start or the backup halfback
