When was the last time he played a good game of Rugby? 2021? Should we recall Tim Horan too?

Any one that could actually stand out playing 2nd division Japanese rugby

Because Schmidt had never seen him and we aren't exactly flush with 12 talent

Pretty happy with the team overall. Looking forward to seeing how Ikitau goes at 12. No Skelton is a bit weird considering he wont be available for the Irish test so all this hoopla about him coming back is going to be limited to 2 test before the Lions series

Kerevi even getting picked for the Wallabies off the back of very little rugby and mediocre form in the Japanese 2nd division is the problem here. He has no rights to have the shits about anything

    Australian Rugby / RA

All of this just screams Leagie media and it's napoleon complex trying to find a way to spin Sua'ali'i wanting to play rugby union as a negative

    Wallabies 2024

oh it's defiantly still possible. I remember Ireland & Scotland being beyond hopeless not all that long ago. Wales, despite all their problems, have still managed to win regular Grand Slams

    Wallabies 2024

While this is true, I still think we have the athletes to have a far better team. As guys like Rob Kearney have mentioned, the athletes playing here are more than good enough, it was the coaching (or lack of) that he was most shocked about

    Wallabies 2024

It's a bit depressing that we have 30,000 more players than Scotland and they are still better than us I think we can all agree that we don't seem to maximize all our players talent

    Fair enough

    Wallabies 2024

So we just shouldn’t bother discussing it? Just put our heads in the sand and look forward to another all NZ super Rugby final Obviously the problem isn’t simple, but that doesn’t mean it’s not solvable

    Wallabies 2024

Have we? Ireland only have 4 pro teams, Wales only have 4, Scotland only have 2, Italy only have 2 Yet none of them seem to have the problem of players they don’t really rate becoming world class somewhere else

    Wallabies 2024

Haha to be fair he was given plenty of chances in Aus
