RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

Beale at fullback then and Folau on the wing with the roaming role. Folau's defense is better than Mitchell's.

RWC 2015 Semi Final 1 - NZ vs RSA Twickenham

Whoever wins the semis it will be a unique final. Argentina have never made it and Australia have only played France and England in the finals they have made.

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

I would have had To'omua on at about the 50th minute as it was clear we needed to straighten the attack and that Giteau was either just passing wide to the wing or making fairly ineffective runs himself. I wouldn't have put Cooper on at all.

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

I don't think the question should be around Cooper, but rather why didn't Cheika use To'omua in a game that was clearly calling out for some straight running and taking it to the line. Cheika has been a bit off with his subs over the last few weeks (IMO).

Joubert really had it in for Sio. Seemed like a pretty one sided refereeing performance by him. Actually I do remember a similar performance of his when the Wallabies played the ABs in Auckland a few years ago. Gets something in his head and only sees it one way. I think his understanding of...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

One bloke taps someone in the stomach and gets a week. Chance of injury almost zero, and even if injured would likely be bruising at worst. The other two dump someone on his head and now get off. Chance of injury a bit higher, and in the worst case it could lead to the guy no longer walking or...

RWC QF 3 IRE v ARG (Millenium Stadium) 18th Oct 2300 AEDT

Bristol and Bath are both nice places to visit and a lot closer to Cardiff than London!

RWC QF 1 WAL v RSA (Twickenham) 18th Oct 0200 AEDT

He is a funny bastard as well (Nigel that is).

The sentence needs to be based on the potential seriousness if the injury not the interests of the public. If the Samoan player was crippled due to this action, then I doubt you would be saying 3 weeks is harsh. That he wasn't was his good luck in this instance.

I think Pape should have been cited as well and gotten a week for faking injury. That punch wouldn't even have hurt my mother.

RWC QF 3 IRE v ARG (Millenium Stadium) 18th Oct 2300 AEDT

The Irish reserves really stepped up to the extent that I think they were better than the injured players they replaced. The biggest loss will be SOB however. Pretty much irreplaceable and had one of the games of the tournament to date. Still think Ireland can scrape through but it will be a...

RWC QF 1 WAL v RSA (Twickenham) 18th Oct 0200 AEDT

It certainly is the weirdest out muscling I have ever seen. Wallabies came out on top in scrums, mauls and I expect turnovers at the ruck. Lineouts pretty even. The only reason they were well in the game was that the wallabies were so poor at diffusing the high ball. Wales gained a lot of...

RWC: IRE v FRA (POOL D) Mon 12th@2:45am

One thing I thought about SOB is that he got away with a lot at the ruck contest that crossed the line. And for the record I was supporting Ireland.

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

I don't think it matters if we are playing SA or Scotland. Need to have everyone 100% for the game. Folau was a liability when it came to the high ball and it really was Wales' only attacking ploy in midfield. Had we been nullifying that ploy the game likely wouldn't have been as close as it...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

Don't be silly. He kicks it and they need two converted tries in 5 minutes to win. Rather than one converted plus a penalty. And didn't he miss it on the far side? If on purpose he would miss on the near side, surely?

We already saw who was right. You lost.

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

If we turn up physically, particular in defence and hold them near scoreless for 60 minutes then we should have sufficient firepower to finish them off. On the other hand if we don't match them up front and they get a sniff it could be 'one of those games'.

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

And if Beale is full back I see Foley taking his roving role later in the game and unleashing havoc. Either Cooper or Foley would move to the wing.

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

I'm not advocating Cooper at all just suggesting the options if he were involved. However on you Foley comment while he was still good vs Wales we didn't exactly unlock their defence (which was a lot better than England's).

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

Without a doubt both Folau and Pockock played a long period of the game injured. This particularly hampered Folau and he was limping most of the time in back play. Didn't jump for high balls and didn't even try to get to some of them. Towards the end he got the ball in space and obviously...
