Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Two points I'd make: 1. Everyone keeps talking about Kerevi in the same way as Kurindrani. While he isn't a full playmaker he is a much more skilful ball player than Kurindrani 2. Why does the second playmaker have to be at 12? There isn't any rule about that - can just as easily work at 13 or 15.

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Neither was Foley so let's drop him as well then? In any case why aren't looking at a different structure - one that has been used to great success by the ABs 10 playmaker 12 big bopper who can offload 13 great defender who can set up his wings and full back 10 Foley 12 Kerevi or Kurindrani...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

The whole backline was contained. Out of the two most threatening one has been dropped. By your rationale the whole backline except for Folau should go!

Why is Lilo required on the bench? We have To'omua who can play 10 if Foley goes off.

The complete dropping of Kerevi is a joke. He should have at least been on the bench. Sends a pretty shit message to the fringe players - you can try your guts out and be one of the best performers only to get thrown out of the 23 all together while under performers are kept in. Not only that...

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

It is a good point about the bomb. I don't understand why we don't use the fact we've got one of the best takers of the high ball in the world more. Bomb to Folau in the corner isn't a bad option when there is nothing happening after 6-8 phases.

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

The second one was even worse, because he had given a warning and even if advantage had expired he should have gone to the pocket. Wallabies would have been playing with one man up for the first 10 minutes of the second half, and there is a good chance the result would have been different. As...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

The only change I would make is for Arnold to go onto the bench for Mumm. Arnold doesn't seem to have the motor to get through enough minutes at test level just yet.

I'm a bit surprised by the reaction to the second test. I'd suggest we don't change any of the players, but maybe use the bench different. The biggest difference we can make is get faster ball. Phipps was slow on occasion and not to mention inaccurate. If he has a good game then Foley looks...

GAGR MOTM Wallabies v England @ Brisbane 11 June 2016

I find it hard to give Hooper 3 points - he gave away the dumbest penalty of the night - and 25m out directly in front. 3 Phipps 2 Hooper 1 Foley

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

What a joke call that was against Fardy for collapsing the Maul. Pretty obvious he had his hands on the ball at all times from the line out and even came out with it on the ground. Just incredible ignorance from Poite.

    Waratahs v Brumbies - Round 8, 2016

Hooper seems to have become a liability at ruck time at the moment and having no great positive impact to offset it. I wonder if this has come from having less focus on this area from playing with Pocock. (Or not needing this focus).

    Reds v Bulls. R8 2016

That lack of call on the clean out for their second try was a bit of a joke. Clean out was lead with shoulder, at an angle and he left his feet. Ref had to pretty much not look at the screen to find nothing wrong! Video ref knew it was dodgy.

Plus they still need some idea of what to do at the breakdown!

Maybe they are allowing for Japan's automatic spot this time and it will change next time?

World Rugby to trial new Law variations

Maybe there could be a special penalty goal whereby if the defending team infringes 3 times in a row in their own half. The attacking team gets a kick at goal which is valued at 5 points. Other penalty kicks are 2 and tries remain at 5. Would certainly help stop serial infringements.

Nice one. A lot more than just the Reds involved in that!

    Reds 2016

I agree with this. Too many people are writing Ant off. Forgetting how good he has been for the Reds. No frills player for sure - but at his best is our defensive leader and essentially like having a 7 in the backline. We would do well to remember that defense and ruck work go a long way to...

So you are saying he gave away something that was worth noting to him? :)
