    Schoolboy Rugby needs a review?

Might have fired that pistol off to quickly there Newbie. Izzy has a lot to learn about the game, but I would not right him off also.

Selection politics and bias, Gold Squads unfairness etc.

Does anyone know whether the games between the 4 or so Sydney JGS squads have taken place? If so, any scores, standouts etc.

IS, maybe it is Olde English; WS would be pleased.;)

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2013

Tepai would have started at New in Year 8 or 9, came from Patrician Brothers, Blacktown. I'm unsure re: Joey. The SG ball comp will have finished prior to the GPS commences, but if they are promoted to NYC it would depend on their league contract as to which takes priority.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

As I said in a later post, Angus is a talented no:9 and if (I hope he does) he moves into pro rugby the question we be on his Dad's influence. I therefore fully agree, it will be a hinderance and there will always be this question. I wish him the best of luck.

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2013

So has he given the discuss up. I believe Joey Lussick (Parramatta) and Taane Milne (Roosters) are on junior contracts and will play SG Ball. So if they are not called up to the NYC teams after the SG Ball finishes then they should be available for the GPS comp. For Tepai, it might be...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2013

Hey GP Srow. I've heard Tepai Morea(sic) has been selected in the Parramatta NYC squad (Toyota Cup). So he will need to chose either Parramatta or Newington. As an OB, any idea which way he will go; league or union?

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Mate, you are joking. Michael Hawker's past work history has a link to his role as Chairperson of the ARU (why he was appointed etc, etc) and his perceived performance in this role. Don't be so thin skinned, if only direct rugby comments were allowed on here; there would be 95% less posts on...

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

I'm not sure whether you understand this but we are on an internet dicussion forum, not a "Whoever" positive endorsement society. If I reckon he did a shithouse job with the NRMA then I have a right to express it, as you have a right to disagree.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Good one, he definitely went out of his way to breakdown the NRMA - almost into non-existence.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Sense of humour, please: but I accept your call.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

I agree with this - leaving north shore-pennisula-and other pockets around Sydney

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

I still have my doubts about Hawker from his days as CEO of the NRMA.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Yes, it was made in jest. From what I have seen of Angus, he is a top flight No:9, but if he does make it to the top (and good luck to him) there will be comments made about dad.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Guys, I meant in a business sense (get out into the Western Suburbs and CCC set of schools) not the BBQ volunteer.
  16. whatever

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

No, no - nepotism has never been part of the rugby culture in this country:)
  17. whatever

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

That is the typical attitude that sees this game remain a sport played mainly in the Eastern Suburbs and North Shore. If Bill doesn't get his arse out to the Western Suburbs as well as promote the game into the CCC set of schools then his appointment will be as it looks on paper - a school mate...

Bill Pulver - new CEO ARU. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Opinion?

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2013

I dont know whether this is of interest to anyone, but, Tepai Morea from Newington has been named in the Parramatta Toyota (NYC) cup squad, as well as being eligible for the Parramatta SG Ball squad. The ball comp runs from Feb to May, but the Toyota Cup runs all season. I can't see him...

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

You believe that then you're not in the real world. It can happen via "old school ties", nationality and many other reasons; it exists.
