Andrew Ready hasn't been named in Easts preseason squad, which is minus the likes of Placid, Gunn and the other Reds....which might indicate he's been training with the Reds as well.

Easts put up a training squad on their website, with none of our Reds squad members. Good to see the Cox boys names there, and Greg Riley going at it again. With no Parraka, Ready, Gunn and UJ named, it might indicate that they are involved in the Reds College/Academy.

I've always thought Palu is a must when full fit. We get knocked around physically by the AB's and Boks, and a player like Palu (and also Higginbotham) are needed to combat that physicality. This is why smaller, less physical players like Mowen get smashed by the likes of Messam, Vermuelen...

Off topic but, where does McCabe fit into the Brumbies plans next season? I mean of course there will be injuries, but in a full backline, the only spot I see for him is on the bench. White, To'omua, Tomane, Lealiafano, Kuridani, Speight, Mogg Pretty awesome backline if you ask me.

Was thinking the exact same thing when I saw the votes. Quite possibly the worst option. Options 3 and 4 seem the best in terms of setting up a ITM Cup style 3rd tier, whilst the Super B option is probably the most easily to implement.
